Hello, and thank you for taking the time to view this little slice of my life. I am so excited to be a new member of the Hive community. You can call me Anya; I am a writer, a dreamer, a collector, and daughter of @ArteDellaVita, who introduced me to the platform.
Since I was a child, I've had a fascination with the ghoulish and grotesque. I am a collector of oddities, including taxidermy/skeletal remains and antique/vintage medical and funeral supplies. I cherish each piece of my collection and keep adding to it… even when I’m told I’ll soon run out of room. I could spend hours pondering each object and browsing the web for more creepy cool pieces to decorate my little haunted home. I've also been expanding my collection to include some vintage and antique books.
I adore folktales from every corner of the world; the more spine-tingling, the better! I find the art of storytelling to be one of the most interesting things in the universe, and I also try to spin my own dreams into words every now and then. I will most likely be posting
the odd poem or prose when inspiration strikes.
When I’m not scouring the internet for bones or telling scary stories by candlelight, you can find me cooking up delicious dinners and playing dress up. In addition to my dearly departed companions, I have two living pets; my sweet pug, and my little old man, a senior Dalmatian/pointer mix.
