All animals have their own personality and way of behaving, making them very unique!
and is very fun to be able to see all of them when they come to the clinic for a check out.
When you work with animals, with pets more specifically, they have a big emotional value for their owners, it is way different from working with farm animals or production because in that area the principal goal is to make money leaving the animal health and comfort in second place.
Most of the people don’t know but vets also make a strong relation with their patients, especially in those who have recovered from serious illnesses, it feels incredibly awesome having them around.
Everyday there is something different to do and new patients to treat, but sometimes there are a couple of personalities that always repeat over and over again.
It isn’t boring, it's just fun!
Mad cats
I don’t want to say that most of them get upset, but… yes, they do! There are just a minimum percentage like 5% in the world that don’t get mad when we need to administer them drugs
We still love them.
Scared Dogs
Those ones that show use their little egg eyes when their owner left them alone with us, it is very cute. We try to give them the best comfort so they chill with us, but sometimes no matter what we do they always have that face, and it's so sad haha.
Imagine being surrounded by people you don't know and having them inject things into your body, it would be very scary to be honest!
The cute ones
Puppies and Kitties are the cutest, but they are not the only ones, senior dogs also are very cute and polite, it is always a pleasure to treat them.
Most of them let you do the checkout very calmly and without being aggressive, sometimes it doesn't happen like that but they are still very cute.
The thing I like the most about veterinary medicine is that there is always something new every day, the routine doesn't exist for us, to be successful we have to be up to date with news in the vet area. That kind of thing makes us anxious about what is going to happen next!
