The dilemma of vote selling...

The fact of the matter is abusers generally have little or no ethics. Of course, they would buy votes on questionable content. This is a given.

The shrewd bid bot owner knows this and often will not unvote. It's a matter of bottom line in these cases which sucks for the rest of us.

If bid bots are being abused, it's up to the bid bot owners to change not the consumer

These words resonate with truth albeit carrying inconveniences for some. Ideally, we do want to effect change with the consumer as well but the greater responsibility lies in the hands of the service provider

We need to hold stakeholders accountable if we care about the retention of value. Vote selling represents the corruption that is the antithesis of this. We've made up excuses long enough.

When I make it in the cryptosphere, I want to be able to look back and know it was not at the expense of others but rather their benefit.

This world doesn't have to be a zero sum game. We can work together to make something better.

That is part of the reason why I started SteemFlagRewards. To counter the abuse facilitated by this defunct business model.

Believe and work towards a better tomorrow.
