Well @coquicoin, I thought about your invitation to post my very first effort at a 50 word story for the zapfic free writing community. And thought nothing ventured nothing gained and as I am not one to turn down a little challenge. Here is my very first 50 word effort but firstly my ........

My sincere apologies if I have this part acknowledging free writing Friday all wrong, I confess that I am very good at getting things very wrong and very good at making faux pas.

Can I write something of substance, mystery and skill to draw in a reader to want to read past the first page? Hmmm, I just might try finishing my book first, then I will be able to start, to write like I know I can, the clever person who loves........

Thank you for reading my words. I love words, I find them everywhere in all kinds of places and on all kinds of surfaces even on a flower pot that sits on a coffee table on my deck.
