Then, welcome to the worry club, it is a world wide one. The Google dictionary fines worry as the action "to feel or cause to feel anxious or troubled about actual or potential problems."
What is not written is that it is fear based. Yep, fear drives and manages worry.
It is completely understandable if you worry because it is one of those pesky human quirks that we are so good at. It starts in childhood when kids worry about night monsters, getting lost, being bullied, tests, looks etc etc.
By the time we reach adulthood worry is so well and true ingrained in our psychic as we work or run businesses, raise children and make sure we have enough money to pay bills, buy the food and engage in leisure activities. Sometimes we are unaware of worrying.
There is nothing worse than being late meeting a deadline or getting to an appointment .

The big downside to worry is stress that develop over the years all of which is silently happening inside you. Interrupted sleep nights while the mind mulls over problems that might happen or maybe we worry about what we said that day. And all the time health problems are developing.
But of course everybody knows about worry but can everybody stop doing it?
The good news is that people do have success! Conscious awareness of worry is a good start. Worrying about the future and past actions is a waste of energy. Live in the now and keep busy instead. Swapping worry for chanting, affirmations and counting sheep works.
There are lots of strategies to try if you want to. Each to his own! Maybe meditation and yoga with Nadia Shodhana breathing is for you? Maybe it is fishing!

And if someone is a reader and likes to get ideas from books well there are plenty on the market. One book is"How to STOP Worrying and START LIVING" written by Dale Carnegie is worth a read. It was a gift for a friend from her brother many years ago His message on the inside cover was well intentioned.
This is for you when you have exams. Read this book and don't panic so much
She did and it helped!
Cheers and Blessings
