What do you think about the first time you talk about avocados? Maybe we'll remember about mashed avocado, avocado juice, or avocado coffee.
To be honest, I never thought about mixing young coconut meat with a whipped avocado. Although to be honest I really like young coconut and also the avocado itself.
But this time I thought about trying "Avocado with Young Coconut Topping Dessert". My soul seemed to scream that I couldn't stand this appetite because of the promo for Grabfood, an online food ordering application.
Moreover, I was fasting so then I decided to press the orders button on the Grab Food page.
I chose a dessert shop called “ES POKAT CANGKER PAHLAWAN, in the Pahlawan area of North Binjai. There is a 30% discount and this also suits my needs who are looking for something sweet to break their fast.
So in the afternoon, before breaking the fast, I ordered a Durian and Avocado Dessert.
I ordered two menus, namely ES POKAT CANGKER KELAPA MUDA and "SOP DURIAN".
There is a half-price discount on shipping costs and a total discount on the price of Rp. 11,735 around almost 1USD. Well, this discount is very good, especially for me who is lazy to leave the house and is indeed a bit far from the city center.
So indeed I am used to ordering the food or food and drink I want through the Grabfood application.
The appearance is very unfortunate, in my opinion, it is less attractive. Even though they can add stickers or just mark their trademarks so that consumers can remember about their products. On another menu, I ordered even though there was a trademark label.
Okay, what about the taste? I think it's just ordinary, nothing special. There is no special taste that makes me say “wow, perfect”.
And one more thing, there are not many young coconut toppings. Pfffft.
Let's continue by reviewing "the durian soup" that carries the name “special”. The portion looks jumbo because it is special.
There are jackfruit and cheese toppings. Quite a lot, and of course there are durian fruits in it.
Then, what about the taste? I think the taste is normal too. In fact, there was too much ice. Although I can finish these menus. It's just that the taste isn't as special as its name.
I will try other sellers more. But if I have to and there is a discount, then I can and I want to order again. If there is no discount, I will try the Durian and Avocado Dessert at another seller to just compare whether some are delicious, or even if others are worse.
That's actually natural because here it is quite difficult to find good quality avocado itself. So maybe that's why the taste isn't that special.
