What will you do if you have a lot of mangoes in stock? Apart from making pudding or sticky rice, making drinks is something worth trying. Especially for days with hot weather.
With colors that are also bright and eye-catching, mangoes are a favorite fruit here to turn into a refreshing drink. So, this time I will share how I serve mango as a drink.
The special thing here is the use of toppings. I used the mango jelly that I had made the day before. I used the mold of a square bowl, then I cut the pudding into cubes to make it better to serve as a drink topping.
In addition to mango jelly, I also use young coconut flesh which is soft, also tastes good with a sweet and savory taste. Do you like young coconut?
Drink recipes are not as complicated as food recipes. We don't need to be so expert either. The most important thing is that we must be careful so that the resulting taste can be maximized, with the right mix of ingredients.
Here, the most important thing is that we have prepared all the ingredients needed. Then we just need to add them one by one into the serving glass. Yup. Just it!
First of all, I made mango juice. You can determine the level of thickness according to your taste. If the mango is too sweet, you can add more water. Conversely, if the mango has a sour taste, you should add sugar. That's why it's important to taste a little mango before making it into juice so that we can maximize the sweetness of the mango and not sour it. Many people fail to drink mango juice because at first sip it tastes sour.
After making mango juice, prepare other ingredients to serve drinks. I cut up the mango jelly that I had made earlier. Also, I prepared young coconut flesh and ice cubes.
Add mango juice to a serving glass.
Add ice cubes.
Add coconut milk or other plant-based ingredients. You can also don't use milk if you want a lighter iced taste, not creamy in texture.
Add jelly and young coconut flesh. Then serve.
For the record, you can also add young coconut water if you have one at home. For other recommended options, you can add sparkling water.
The combination of freshness from many fresh ingredients is perfect. Jelly and young coconut flesh is another side of tropical heaven that is always worth enjoying on a hot day.
I hope you guys get some new inspiration from my food blog this time, and until next on my food blog, HIVE LOVERS!
