A few weeks ago I wrote a small poem for a buddyup topic but I didn't post it because I didn't feel it was enough.... so I thought that I might see if I could draw what I see through my window to go with the poem.
Since I have never drawn anything in my life this was quite a big ask and I didn't expect much from my efforts but I was quite surprised at how it turned out.
This is the very first pencil drawing I did and it is what I see from my front porch.
What I see through my window
Is trees dancing gently
The flowers blooming in all colours
And grass, long and lush
What I see through my window
Is birds flying free
The cattle grazing calmly
And white sheep in the distance
What I see through my window
Is the beauty of the surrounding landscape
The clouds slowly passing overhead
And the sun casting shadows
What I see through my window
Is the life that I choose
The view of nature at it’s finest
And freedom, peace and tranquility
