Now, a lovely cool change has come through today so I can continue to paint 👍 If you remember in the previous post I finished the masking, today I get to do a little spraying and show you what all the hard work was for.
To begin I have a 50/50 mix of Tamiya nato green and thinner. This is the right colour for the German green we want to achieve.
As you can see thanks to all the masking the process is very simple. Just point and spray 🤗
I want the green to be a little thin in some areas as this will help it look a little worn later on.
Once the paint dries properly I can start to remove the masking tape. This is where the first clear coat really helps to protect the paint underneath.
Tooth pic multi tool 🤣 Easy to get under the tape without scratching it.
Can't forget the turret!
And here we are! Now I need to paint it with another clear coat 🙄 before I start the weathering process,
One more night of drying then on to the really fun part!
