One of the cats is wearing a corona mask :). I liked the way you used a lot of different elements - things you are upset about, writing poetry, funny cat Youtube videos - for weaving one post. Makes me

Nice introduction to the plotter / pantser topic! :) I'm working on a novel at the moment, and it started very similar as to what you describe as your own process of a story evolving. With first a character

That was a great read. I was wondering whether you actually have someone in your circle of family and friends, who you based Axel's character on? I like how the details of what he does and thinks of make

Thank you for your feedback! I'm happy you like the sketches, I really enjoy drawing them also :). I had fun writing both stories. But I think I agree with you that the one about the lady is a little more

Ah wow, really appreciate the feedback! Thank you for taking the time to reflect on the questions I put out :). I guess not being a native speaker means that sometimes I look at my sentences, and I first

Well done, great read! I enjoyed how you gave the reader little hints and expanded on them. Starting with 'the morning beverage'. When I read that, there's this tiny question in the back of my mind - why

Cool! Loved how those backstories gave depth to your writing. Congrats on the win!

Great story and beautiful writing style! I like these kind of sentences: "There was no traffic on the residential streets that took him home either, although at one stage there was a distant siren

Thanks for your very kind words. And for taking the time to read the stories!!

Wow, awesome, thank you :D. Was a lot of fun joining the contest and reading everyone's stories!

I'm sorry to hear you weren't feeling well. Hope things are better now! And thanks a lot for letting me know your impression. I actually love writing up characters that both intrigue and scare us ;). Really

Wow! Yes!! Thank you so much for putting this out here, it is exactly what I was looking for! Going to get into all the details of how to join - sounds amazing!!

Just wanted to let you know :). The story I posted two days ago was a zombie story, inspired by @snook's writing contest. It was a great setting to try out your tip of balancing mystery and the mundane.

Thank you @jayna! True, it probably wasn't The Ink Well then. The community I felt a part of at the time was the Steemit community, but after a bit of reading up I decided to 'come back' to Hive :). Now

Wow, thanks for sharing!!!

Thank you so much for reading! And for the kind words :). This was one of my longer stories, one where characters are throwing out a lot of monologue. I was afraid it might be a bit much, so I'm happy

Never tried writing a zombie / horror story before. It was so much more fun than I expected. Thanks for an awesome challenge!! Here's my entry:

That was a fun read! I liked how you kept certain things a mystery. Like: "She did stumble out of there with us, clumsy like, in her rubber party dress and come fuck me heels. She wouldn't give them

Thank you! And yes, exactly :). You summarised it well. She outlived everyone, but (or maybe because) she's rotten to the core...

This is my second entry to the contest, with an extra effort to put in a well defined story arc: Short Story: Personal Treasure
