I have not actually taken out my time to take a walk around my vicinity just to enjoy the wonderful creature of God. It's been crazy out here especially in the city of Lagos where everyone is busy thriving to survive the harsh economic conditions.
Today after hours of working from home i decided to take a walk inside the estate with my daughters.
First they were super excited because they have not left the house for days and i was also happy to be out if not for anything to get my mind off from work and other troubles of the world.
The beautiful flowers in the eatate is what captivated me the most and i was really shocked on how i never noticed all these beautiful flowers. It dawned on me that often times we get carried away by the bustles and hustles of life that we don't actually take time to live and enjoy nature.
Going further down we saw a papaya tree and one of the leaves had withered. I really felt bad for it but knowing that a new leaf will sprout up soon consoled my troubled heart.
We decided to go to the estate garden and sat down there for a while. It was evening time and so a great time to relax in the garden and talk before heading home. Getting there we saw that people were already there and we just have to cancel our plan.
My girls were a little disappointed that we don't get to relax in the garden but i promise them that we will come back another day. They brightened up immediately they spotted a white flower and they went to pluck few. It was a very beautiful flower and the colour exudes purity.
