It's been a while since my last greenhouse update post, the last one was 9 days ago, so today seems like a good day to write another update. It's a mild rainy day today, so I'm not doing anything outside, but I went out to the greenhouse to check on the plants, and decided to take a few pictures.
The tomato plants are all doing well now, and most of them are starting to put out flowers. Here's a look at the line up of the plants.
Those first 2 big plants in the corner are Early Girl tomatoes. They were getting really thick, so I decided to trim them a bit, taking off some of the suckers and a few of the lower leaves. I ended up with a pretty good pile of trim. This helps the plant to develop the tomatoes instead of more green growth.
Believe it or not, I still have 3 tomato plants that I need to plant somewhere. I also have 3 squash plants that are about ready to go into the garden. I'm thinking that I'll plant these up at the community garden.
My Early Girl plants have a few tomatoes on them already, so I might get a couple of ripe ones before July, maybe.
One more picture for this update. My catnip plant is growing well along with the other non-food plants in the greenhouse.
That's all I have for this greenhouse update, thanks for stopping by to check it out!
