Saludos

ENGLISH

Real photos of a dinosaur egg—though the closest thing I have to that are the chickens in my backyard, hahaha.

It’s actually an avocado. We have two big avocado trees in my backyard—one serves as a private apartment for our chickens and roosters (it doesn’t produce avocados for some reason), and the other is the one that does bear fruit, which, by the way, are the best, hehehe. They’re very creamy and flavorful. Too bad I don’t have any photos because when they’re ripe, they disappear quickly—they’re that good.

As you saw, this particular fruit caught my eye while we were picking them; that texture and color made me curious, and I couldn’t stop looking at it and touching it. It was strange and kind of gross, but satisfying at the same time, hahaha. I made sure that fruit wasn’t given away—that’s why we were harvesting in the first place—and I even ate it for breakfast. I didn’t want to throw away the shell because it still intrigued me. I took lots of photos of it, but I’m only showing you the best ones since there are so many.

The “dinosaur egg” thing came about because I sent the photos to a lot of my friends and my sister, and they were all really intrigued by it and felt the same way—though they were the ones who called it a “dinosaur egg,” hahaha. I don’t think dinosaur eggs actually looked like that either, but I thought it was funny and wanted to show them to you. I’d love to hear what these images bring to mind for you—I’ll read your comments.

Best regards
