ENGLISH

Not long ago, I went for a drive with my dad to kill some time before heading home, since the power was out and he didn’t want to be at home without electricity. We went to a few different places and ended up at a nursery, where we bought two grafted trees—one orange and one lemon. I’d hardly ever been to places like this before, so I just wandered around leisurely while my dad chatted about plants with the girl who helped us.

I saw lots of pretty (and expensive, hahaha) flowers; I took pictures of the ones I liked best, and I just looked at the others for the sake of it. I stood there like a dork, taking in a little bit of everything, and walked leisurely among the plants. A man was explaining the names and origins of each flower I was looking at. It was kind of funny because I just wanted to admire them, but he was really enthusiastic as he talked, so I just let him be while I zoned out and kept looking.

Since the man was nearby, I stopped taking photos out of consideration and started asking him questions out of politeness. My dad then chatted with him about the phases of the moon and the best time to plant, and I took the opportunity to snap a few pretty photos. We didn’t stay there very long, but I was there long enough to relax surrounded by so many beautiful things and the refreshing feeling of being surrounded by greenery.

I was interested in a few plants, but after seeing the prices, hahaha, I just looked at them and enjoyed the moment. I want to go back just because of how that place made me feel, and maybe buy the blue flower I liked. Here are a few photos—I hope you like them as much as I do.
