Warm greetings, Foodies Bee Hive community, this time one of my weekend inventions, this is a tartlet with egg, mozzarella cheese, vegetables and tomato sauce, a Sunday breakfast.
Ingredientes
- 500 gr de harina de trigo todo uso
- 200 gr de mozzarella cortado en cubos
- 100 gr de queso blanco fresco rallado
- 1/2 taza de pure de tomates
- 2 huevos
Ingredients
- 500 gr all-purpose wheat flour
- 200 gr mozzarella cheese cut in cubes
- 100 gr fresh white cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup tomato puree
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped mixture of chives, celery, parsley and leeks.
- Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
Paso 1
Step 1
The dough for the base of the tartlets, is similar to others that I have prepared before in my publications, to make it, we must only mix in a bowl, the flour with a teaspoon of salt, baking powder and a dash of olive oil, add 300 ml of warm water and knead until a smooth dough that does not stick to your hands.
Once we have the dough, we will stretch it and cut it into 12 more or less equal parts and proceed to flatten each of them in the shape of a disk of about 12 centimeters in diameter. We will use these disks to fill the cavities, previously oiled, of a baking pan, so that they form a kind of dough basket, which we will then fill.
Paso 2
Step 2
We will place one by one the fillings in our dough baskets, starting with half a teaspoon of tomato sauce, which we will prepare by seasoning the tomato puree with salt, pepper and garlic powder, to taste. Then we will place a cube of mozzarella cheese in each one and a little of our mixture of chives, parsley, celery and leeks, finely chopped.
Next we will beat the two eggs together with a little salt and pepper and add a little of this mixture to each basket, trying to leave at least a centimeter and a half of the height to the edge of the basket, to prevent it from overflowing when it is cooked and both the dough and the egg increase their volume.
Finish by placing a layer of grated cheese on top of the egg and place in a preheated oven at 200°C, if possible with the fan on, and bake for 15 minutes, after which you will have delicious tartlets, with a surprise of melted cheese in the center, which can be used for breakfast or for a get-together with friends.
I hope you liked the recipe, that you can prepare it and enjoy it, until next time.
