This is my entry for Day 2021: 5 Minute Freewrite: Friday - Prompt: tumor
I know that to have some kind of order in the community we have to appoint a leader, someone that we consider wise and have better knowledge, and is also respected by the whole community.
We also expect this leader will definitely put the need and good of the community over his own. But then as the community gets bigger, now somehow we are being led by the politician that don't really care for its people rather than their own.
The sad thing is that we are the people who give this politician the power to make policies for all of us. Yes, we want to have peace and order in the whole country, but once the bad politician is elected, things might go sour. Just like a tumor, it might feel small, but could definitely eat you up from the inside.
