At the Western Environmental Observatory, Sam connected Peter Englert to the Chiral Network, that unlocked the battle skeleton and grenade pistol for him. After Fragile suggested resting, I boarded the DHV Magellan, fabricated a fresh Tri-Cruiser, and hauled recovered cargo from local MULE postboxes back to the ship for recycling and storage.
Searching the area yielded no trace of my missing Tri-Cruiser, leaving me to assume the brigrands had stashed it away or abandoned it elsewhere. Prioritizing my primary objective, I approached the terminal at the Western Environmental Observatory to report the location's clearance.
A chiralgram of Peter Englert materialized, expressing relief that the threat had been neutralized before asking to link the facility directly to the Chiral Network. Sam activated the Q-pid to initiate the animation sequence to secure the connection.
Establishing the network link expanded local coverage and unlocked valuable gear schematics, including the battle skeleton and the grenade pistol.
The specialized skeleton draws power to boost movement speed while utilizing a waist-mounted electromagnetic shield to absorb incoming kinetic fire.
The grenade pistol fires versatile EMP shells capable of disabling both machinery and BT targets. Peter re-emerged via chiralgram to confirm that the connection would drastically improve environmental monitoring near the Field Gate while making regional travel safer.
Following the briefing, Fragile contacted Sam to note that the DHV Magellan was anchored nearby, advising Sam and Dollman to return to the ship's private room to rest before accepting the next delivery.
Stepping outside the facility, I spotted the massive hull of the DHV Magellan landing just a short distance across the terrain. Needing reliable transport to recover my scattered supplies, I sprinted straight to the vessel and accessed the garage terminal.
Finding no active vehicles stored inside the garage, I fabricated a new Tri-Cruiser on the spot to handle the upcoming supply run.
I rode the Tri-Cruiser back into the field, targeting two MULE postboxes where my lost cargo remained stored. Before retrieving the gear, I returned to the ship to recycle several heavy, non-essential items to free up carrying capacity and generate raw materials for future fabrication.
Returning outside, I hacked into the second MULE postbox, cleared out the inventory, and loaded the recovered containers onto the Tri-Cruiser's cargo racks.
Driving back to the DHV Magellan, I accessed the terminal once more to entrust specific deliveries and store the remaining supplies safely in the ship's locker.
