The application window to apply for any IPO stays open for 2-3 days and only in case of exception it gets 4 days so in this period all the investors apply for the same and then wait for its listing announcement.
This week the IPO of Nazara Technologies was open for application. Its issue was opened on 17th March and closed on 19 May 2021 so there was a window of 3 days to apply. One shared price is expected to be around INR 1100 and one lot contains 13 shares. This IPO has got huge success and even I could not apply because of a server outage with my broker. I wanted to apply on the last day on 19th March) but the website outage did not allow me to do this. I wish that I would have tried 1 day before.
Nazara Technologies IPO subscribed 175.46 times. The public issue subscribed 75.29 times in the retail category, 103.77 times in QIB, and 389.89 times in the NII category by Mar 19, 2021, 05:00.
This is quite big as over-subscription is huge and with this, it brings a higher probability of premium listing in exchange.
Getting a location in IPO is not easy because many people apply in multiple lots. Even some of my friends have applied approx. 10 lots and they are expecting to get at least one or two out of it so if they give them for sure they are going to get very good returns and that too in the short span of time.
Those who are looking to have a decent return in a short period of time then they must go for IPO because it all happens in 15 days and you need not hold the money for a longer period.
This IPO was closed on 19th March and it is expected that within a week there should be sharing the update about a location and listing will be done thereafter. So by the end of March investors will be able to sell off their shares on the exchange if they want and if there is a premium listing then they will be able to earn a good amount in just a couple of weeks' time.
