Children who respond to their parents or contradict them are said to be rebellious and disobedient children. From the vision of us adults, this is a behavior that should not be for a child who is "Well Educated", but it is not something that we have to worry about, since it is something positive for the development of his personality.

All parents have gone through those moments that are quite uncomfortable and sometimes end with our patience, but let's learn to stay calm, and we are going to keep in mind that if the children are rebellious, they manage to become very successful adults.

When our children answer us, we normally react with a scolding because we consider that they are being rude and it is an act of rebellion. But what we do not know is that they are saying "NO" to something they do not agree with, to something they do not like or to something they are not willing to do, they are learning to exercise some control over their lives and decisions.

Como padres debemos hacernos estas preguntas:

As parents we should ask ourselves these questions:

1 . How do we want our children to be, the day we no longer take them by the hand?

2 . Do we want them to be people who go with the flow and are unable to say "no"?

That is why it is positive that our children practice that ability to replicate from a very young age. Because in this way they show that they are independent people, that they have their own ideas and that they are capable of making their own decisions since they were little. Decisions that will increasingly become more complex as they get older.

Do not think that by telling you this, it means that you have to let the children do what they want and play with you. As parents of course we have to set limits, we cannot allow insults, shouting, much less violence on their part, but before any response from children, it is important that we know how to act.

We have to put into practice our self-control to avoid the retort on our part in an explosive way that leads us nowhere. After you are calm and your little one also talks about the subject again, make them see that we understand their point of view, negotiate and solve the problem in a better way and if you do not plan to change your position, explain why?

The replica in minors is the practice of a skill that, if well managed, with respect and tolerance, will make them become independent and better prepared for adult life.
