Meteora is a unique rock formation in the mountains of Thessaly, Greece. The uniqueness of these rocks — in addition to their natural beauty — is that on their tops there are monasteries known since the X century AD. The monasteries of Meteora are one of the centers of the Orthodox Church in Greece.
In my picture you can see the starry sky over the Meteora rocks and the lights of the monastery of St. Nicholas. I have never published a story about my trip to this incredibly beautiful place, but I will tell you about it soon.
