Distance creates silence.
The farther something moves away, the less we can hear, feel, or understand. Details disappear first. Then movement. Eventually, all that remains is a quiet shape somewhere in the distance.
Maybe silence is not always the absence of sound. Maybe sometimes it is simply everything that distance has taken away.
