These pictures capture one of the most memorable experiences from my first trip to the island of Tenerife, Spain. The TF-21 road leading from the town of Granadilla de Abona to the Teide National Park rises higher and higher into the mountains until it reaches an altitude of about a kilometer above sea level. If you are lucky, it is at this height, not far from the village of Vilaflor, that you will see the first clouds covering the mountain slopes like fog. Fabulous sensations...
