My yesterday's post about small fish gave me the idea to make a post about big fish. :)
I assume that all travelers are interested in local cuisine and like to eat delicious food. I am one of them, and I love Mediterranean cuisine — my main passion is grilled seafood: octopus, squid, and fish. Today I would like to share a couple of pictures of grilled fish taken in Bella Mama Restaurant, Gouvia, during a trip to Corfu in 2014. Unfortunately, this restaurant is currently closed for some reason.
The first picture shows grilled salmon. Classic dish, classic taste. I think everyone knows about grilled salmon. The second picture shows a grilled swordfish. This fish I first tasted in Greece, and since then I cannot forget its luxurious, extremely tender, creamy taste. Swordfish changed my idea of the taste of white sea fish. Sea bass? Dorado? I am sorry, but this is an ordinary fish with an ordinary taste, no matter how delicious it is cooked. You will say it is a matter of taste, and you will be right. However, I am sure that as soon as you try grilled swordfish, you will get one of the best gastronomic memories of your life. As it happened to me. :)
I hope my pictures will make you a little hungry.
