Within the last 24 hours an absolutely insane amount of Ethereum and Bitcoin has changed hands. Today 2.5 billion dollars of Ethereum and 1.7 billion dollars of Bitcoin have been traded which is roughly 3x the average since I started looking at https://coinmarketcap.com/ every day for the last 3 months. What does this mean? Unusually high trading volume on the stock market generally means something big is about to happen, will the price go way up or way down? Expect increased volatility during the next few days. Have people finally moved past the fear of the Bitcoin Improvement Proposal (BIP) 148, which will be undergoing a user activated soft fork on August 1st? This is the largest single % movement in a day for Bitcoin in quite a while. Is this the second coming of the crypto boom? What are your thoughts?
