Through my eyes

Hola comunidad! Hoy tenia ganas de pintar, pero esta vez algo realista, o al menos semi realista a la vez plasmar un poco de como me siento, normalmente cuando tengo un humor pésimo siento la necesidad de expresarme a través de mis dibujos y querer realizar muchos detalles que le den un toque de realismo a mis obras, por eso hoy realice este retrato bastante cerca donde pudiese detallar mucho mejor la textura de la piel y los ojos, últimamente me gusta mucho trabajar retratos que manejen esta especie de sombra donde solo un reflejo de luz haga resaltar ciertas partes del rostro, espero que les guste tanto como a mi.

Today I wanted to paint, but this time something realistic, or at least semi-realistic at the same time to capture a bit of how I feel, normally when I have a lousy mood I feel the need to express myself through my drawings and want to do many details that give a touch of realism to my works, that's why today I made this portrait quite close where I could detail the texture of the skin and the eyes much better, lately I really like to work portraits that handle this kind of shadow where only a reflection of light make certain parts of the face stand out, I hope you like it as much as I do.

Después de realizar el boceto, comencé a aplicar los tonos base en su rostro, agregué muchos tonos rosas, beige y marrones, quería un retrato con estos colores que diesen un aspecto más rojizo al rostro como si estuviese llorando. Los ojos serian verdes con un poco de azul claro y a un amarillo desaturado muy tenue, en una nueva capa comencé a mezclar los tonos creando una piel cada vez mas suave, detalle sus ojos y nariz para luego continuar pintando las cejas, para esto utilice un pincel con textura de cabello.

After doing the sketch, I started to apply the base tones on her face, I added a lot of pink, beige and brown tones, I wanted a portrait with these colors that would give a more reddish appearance to the face as if she was crying.
The eyes would be green with a bit of light blue and a very faint desaturated yellow, in a new layer I began to mix the tones creating an increasingly softer skin, detail her eyes and nose and then continue painting the eyebrows, for this I used a hair texture brush.

Una vez que el rostro y cuello estaban listos, comencé a pintar su cabello con un color negro y creando un corte diferente al que había colocado en el boceto original, pinte algunos reflejos de luz en su cabello y luego detalle un poco mas algunas partes del rostro como los labios, los ojos y nariz, en una nueva capa maneje un poco los brillos del rostro y pinte una lagrima, luego se me ocurrió hacer esta especie de maquillaje en su ojo, fue algo que experimente para darle un toque diferente al dibujo y me termino gustando muchísimo asi que lo deje, finalmente aplique algunos ajustes de color y brillo para luego colocar una capa de sombra sobre todo el dibujo y borrando las partes que quería resaltar del rostro.

Once the face and neck were ready, I started to paint her hair with a black color and creating a different cut than the one I had placed in the original sketch, I painted some highlights on her hair and then detailed some parts of the hair a bit more. face like the lips, eyes and nose, in a new layer I handled the glitter of the face a bit and painted a tear, then it occurred to me to do this kind of makeup on his eye, it was something that I experimented to give a different touch to the drawing and I ended up liking it a lot so I left it, finally I applied some color and brightness adjustments and then placed a shadow layer over the entire drawing and erasing the parts that I wanted to highlight from the face.
