Night fairy

Hola amigos, tengan una buena noche. recién me sentí inspirada para hacer algo en blanco y negro, como les he comentado anteriormente, los dibujos en blanco y negro ayudan muchísimo a entender un poco mejor las sombras, luces, volúmenes, aunque finalmente decidí darle una tonalidad azul solo por probar y me gustó mas asi, esta vez quise hacer una especie de hada cubierta por plantas, siento que hay algo en el rostro que no me gusto tanto pero el resto del dibujo si me gusto, hoy quiero compartir el proceso con ustedes, espero que les guste.

I just felt inspired to do something in black and white, as I have told you before, the black and white drawings help a lot to understand a little better the shadows, lights, volumes, although finally I decided to give a blue tone just to try and I liked it better, this time I wanted to do a kind of fairy covered by plants, I feel that there is something in the face that I did not like so much but the rest of the drawing if I liked it, today I want to share the process with you, I hope you like it.

Después de comenzar con mi boceto, elegí un gris claro para pintar la piel, luego agregue otra capa donde coloque mas gama de grises creando asi poco a poco la forma, luces y sombras, para el cabello utilice un negro puro y para las alas un gris medio y baje la opacidad de la capa para darle ese efecto de transparencia a las alas.

After starting with my sketch, I chose a light gray to paint the skin, then I added another layer where I put more range of grays creating little by little the shape, lights and shadows, for the hair I used a pure black and for the wings a medium gray and lowered the opacity of the layer to give that effect of transparency to the wings.

Comencé a difuminar y mezclar los tonos de la piel para obtener una piel suave, agregue algunas iluminaciones en el cabello y luego comencé a pintar las plantas que cubren la parte delantera, en una nueva capa pinte las cejas, pestañas y agregue mas profundidad en ciertas partes del rostro, así como también resaltar con luz el rostro, oscurecí el fondo y pinte mas plantas detrás, se me ocurrió colocar algunos puntos de luz florando alrededor, hasta ahora el dibujo no se veía tan mal pero decidí explorar un poco con los ajustes y me gusto como se veía con esta tonalidad azul, asi que lo deje de esta manera.

I started blurring and blending the skin tones to get a soft skin, added some highlights in the hair and then started painting the plants that cover the front, in a new layer I painted the eyebrows, eyelashes and added more depth to certain parts of the face, as well as highlighting the face with light, darkened the background and painted more plants behind, I thought of placing some flowering points of light around it, so far the drawing didn't look so bad but I decided to explore a little bit with the settings and I liked how it looked with this blue hue, so I left it this way.
