Feliz lunes comunidad. Estoy bastante emocionada de compartir este dibujo con ustedes, como algunos sabrán a veces me gusta mucho jugar con algo de surrealismo, este estilo de dibujo ha sido bastante difícil de desarrollar para mi pero poco a poco he podido mejorar algunas cosas y a expandir un poco mas mi mente a aquello que no es tan lógico como lo vemos siempre, me sentía inspirada para dar plasmas un poco de surrealismo en mi retrato de hoy, asi que, comencé a pensar ideas que surgieron de varias formas en mi mente, pero esta fue la que mas me gusto, aunque un amigo me dio otra idea que tiene que ver con jaulas, pero lo hare mas adelante, porque me gustó muchísimo esa propuesta también. En esta oportunidad quise reflejar una jaula que representa una mente prisionera que desea ser libre, un rostro quebrado con un contraste de color donde una parte de ella se quiebra, para esta oportunidad quise pintar de manera rustica sin tener mucho cuidado, me gusto bastante porque de cerca tiene efecto de oleo.

I am quite excited to share this drawing with you, as some of you may know sometimes I really like to play with some surrealism, this style of drawing has been quite difficult for me to develop but little by little I have been able to improve some things and expand a little more. my mind to what is not as logical as we always see it, I felt inspired to capture a bit of surrealism in my portrait today, so, I began to think of ideas that arose in various ways in my mind, but this was the I liked it the most, although a friend gave me another idea that has to do with cages, but I'll do it later, because I really liked that proposal too.
This time I wanted to reflect a cage that represents a prisoner mind that wants to be free, a broken face with a color contrast where a part of her breaks, for this opportunity I wanted to paint in a rustic way without being very careful, I liked it a lot because up close it has an oil effect.

Comencé mi boceto con la idea clara de lo que quería, para pintar, elegi tonos piel desaturados combinados con algunos azules pálidos, en una nueva capa comencé a mezclar los tonos usando un pincel con textura de oleo y una opacidad al 100%, esto lo hice asi porque quería que su piel no luciese totalmente suave sino mas bien con textura, colores fuertes que resaltaran sin mezclarlos por completo.

I started my sketch with a clear idea of what I wanted, to paint, I chose desaturated skin tones combined with some pale blues, in a new layer I started to mix the tones using a brush with an oil texture and an opacity of 100%, i did this because I wanted her skin to not look totally smooth but rather textured, strong colors that pop without completely blending them.

Pinte la grieta en su rostro con un pincel duro, para este punto se me ocurrió que seria buena idea aclarar esta parte de la piel que se supone que esta “rota” asi que aclare esa parte rodeando la grieta, pinte sus cejas y pestañas para luego comenzar a pintar el cabello, para el cabello use un marrón oscuro y para aplicar luz pinte con marrón claro, pinte la jaula usando marrón oscuro también, en esta parte tampoco fui muy cuidadosa ya que como mencione, quería una textura rustica y poco delicada, agregue un poco de luz en la jaula pero sin exagerar mucho, dentro de la jaula coloque muchas siluetas de pájaros pequeños dentro y fuera con un tono negro.

I painted the crack on her face with a hard brush, at this point it occurred to me that it would be a good idea to lighten this part of the skin that is supposed to be "broken" so I lightened that part surrounding the crack, paint her eyebrows and eyelashes to then start painting the hair, for the hair I used a dark brown and to apply light paint with light brown, I painted the cage using dark brown too, in this part I wasn't very careful either because as I mentioned, I wanted a rustic and messy texture, add some light in the cage but without exaggerating too much, inside the cage put many silhouettes of small birds inside and outside with a black tone.

Para el fondo probe muchos colores base, me gusto este azul pálido asi que comencé a pintar esta especie de cielo, para ello use diferentes tonos de azul desaturado y blanco y pinte con un pincel de textura de tiza, dando muchos toques que daban como resultado un fondo parecido al cielo pero con la textura que yo quería lograr, dibuje pequeñas líneas verticales con blanco y aplique un desenfoque de movimiento creando asi la lluvia, esto lo hice tanto en el fondo como encima de toda la imagen, finalmente aplique algunos ajustes de color, exposición, saturación y pinte algunos puntos de luz en el rostro.

For the background I tried many base colors, I liked this pale blue so I started to paint this kind of sky, for this I used different shades of desaturated blue and white and painted with a chalk texture brush, giving many touches that resulted in a background similar to the sky but with the texture that I wanted to achieve, I drew small vertical lines with white and applied a motion blur thus creating the rain, I did this both in the background and on top of the entire image, finally I applied some color adjustments color, exposure, saturation and paint some light spots on the face.
