I miss feeling alive

Hola de nuevo querida comunidad, espero que se encuentren muy bien, por mi parte estoy bien y con muchas ideas en mente, hoy les presento una de ellas, un retrato el cual quise dibujar en el mar, con una mirada profunda y tonos casi sepia, quise probar con esta tonalidad porque siempre me ha parecido bastante hermosa y curiosa, siento que agrega un toque de drama, para la textura como verán, quise utilizar pinceles muy desaliñados para no hacer trazos perfectos, es una técnica que me ayuda bastante a soltar mas la mano y dejar de preocuparme por ser perfeccionista, a veces solo necesitamos que las cosas tengan forma y no tanto detalles, espero que les guste.

Hello again dear community, I hope you are very well, for my part I am fine and with many ideas in mind, today I present one of them, a portrait that I wanted to draw in the sea, with a deep look and almost sepia tones.
I wanted to try this tonality because I have always found it quite beautiful and curious, I feel that it adds a touch of drama, for the texture as you will see, I wanted to use very scruffy brushes so as not to make perfect lines, it is a technique that helps me a lot to let go more hand and stop worrying about being a perfectionist, sometimes we just need things to have a shape and not so much detail, I hope you like it.

Realice mi boceto y elegí los colores para poder comenzar, esta vez pinte sobre el lienzo con un tono beige oscuro para guiarme mejor con los tonos que utilizaría, pinte primero el rostro agregando diferentes tonos piel opacos, sin dar mucho detalle, luego pinte el fondo con un tono verde oscuro que seria el agua y un verde oliva claro para hacer el cielo, comencé a detallar el rostro poco a poco dándole forma a cada parte, al principio haría un cabello largo pero decidí que quedaría mejor cabello corto, asi que pinte el cabello con un tono marrón, estilice por completo el rostro y continue con el torso, luego pinte el agua que cubre parte del cuerpo.

I made my sketch and I chose the colors to start, this time I painted on the canvas with a dark beige tone to guide me better with the tones that I would use, first I painted the face adding different opaque skin tones, without giving much detail, then I painted the background with a dark green tone that would be the water and a light olive green to make the sky, I began to detail the face little by little, giving shape to each part, at first I would do long hair but I decided that short hair would look better, so I painted the hair with a brown tone, stylize the face completely and continue with the torso, then paint the water that covers part of the body.

Con un tono beige opaco comencé a pintar sobre el color base del cabello, agregando algunos tonos rosas también, comencé a detallar el agua agregando algunas luces y sombras para crear este mar turbulento, en el fondo pinté algunas figuras lejanas. Pinte las cejas, pestañas y detalle un poco mas los ojos.

With a dull beige tone I started to paint over the base color of the hair, adding some pink tones as well, I started to detail the water by adding some highlights and shadows to create this turbulent sea, in the background I painted some distant figures.
Paint the eyebrows, eyelashes and detail the eyes a little more.

Ahora como siempre, empecé a añadir algunos puntos de luz que me encanta hacer esto siempre en todas mis ilustraciones, esta vez pinté algunas pequeñas gotas en la piel y el mar, añadí mas brillo en los ojos, nariz y pómulos. Continue agregando mas profundidad a los ojos y creando una sombra rojiza que cubre debajo del ojo, finalmente aplique un ajuste de saturación y contraste y ya estaba listo el dibujo.

Now as always, I started to add some points of light that I always love to do this in all my illustrations, this time I painted some small drops on the skin and the sea, I added more shine in the eyes, nose and cheekbones.
I continued adding more depth to the eyes and creating a reddish shadow that covers under the eye, finally I applied a saturation and contrast adjustment and the drawing was ready.
