Buenas noches chicos, hoy quiero compartir este DIY que realice el dia de hoy.
Esta vez utilice CD viejos que ya casi no se usan para reciclarlos, esta idea no vino de mí, sino mas bien de una colaboración que nos pidió la escuela de mi hijo para decorar la escuela con temática de navidad, en mi país desde octubre la gente comienza a emocionarse por esta temporada del año y los colegios desde este momento ya empiezan a decorar y a hacer actividades que tienen que ver con la navidad, a mi me encanto la idea y obviamente necesitaba participar, realmente fue muy fácil y se gastan muy pocos materiales, la maestra pidió solo 2 decoraciones por persona, por eso hice tan pocos, pero realmente me quedaron ganas de hacer mas para decorar mi casa en navidad, incluso podrían hacerse para colocar en el arbolito.
Para realizar esta manualidad utilice los siguientes materiales:
Foami rojo escarchado
Cartulina blanca, color piel, verde y naranja
Una tijera
Silicon
Una cuerda pequeña
Marcador negro fino

Good evening guys, today I want to share this DIY that I made today.
This time I used old CDs that are almost no longer used to recycle them, this idea did not come from me, but rather from a collaboration that my son's school asked us to decorate the school with Christmas theme, in my country since October people start to get excited about this time of the year and schools from this time already begin to decorate and do activities that have to do with Christmas, I loved the idea and obviously I needed to participate, it was really easy and very few materials were used, the teacher asked for only 2 decorations per person, that's why I made only 2, but I really wanted to make more to decorate my house for Christmas, they could even be made to put on the tree.
To make this craft I used the following materials:
Red frosted Foami
White, green, pink and orange cardboard
Scissors
Silicone
A small string
Thin black marker
CD

Obviamente al pensar en decoraciones de navidad, lo primero que se viene a la mente es Santa, muñecos de nieve, renos, bastones de caramelo etc.
Sin embargo, como les comenté solamente pidieron dos decoraciones por persona, entonces tuve que hacer una difícil elección entre cual de estos elementos me gustaría recrear, me fui por lo mas básico, Santa y un muñeco de nieve, quería hacerlos muy lindos y tiernos, salí a comprar foami rojo escarchado porque en casa no tenia, solo tenía rojo sin escarcha y la verdad quien me conoce sabe que amo los brillos, no pude resistirme, también compre cartulina blanca, lo demás lo tenía en casa, asi que comencé tomando mi CD y colocándolo sobre cartulina color piel y con ayuda de un lápiz trace la figura del CD, esto para hacer la piel del rostro de Santa, luego recorte lo que seria el sombrero pero no me gusto como quedo asi que lo cambie.

However, as I told you they only asked for two decorations per person, so I had to make a difficult choice between which of these elements I would like to recreate, I went for the most basic, Santa and a snowman, I wanted to make them very cute and tender, I went out to buy red frosted foami because I didn't have any at home, I could not resist, I also bought white cardboard, the rest I had at home, so I started by taking my CD and placing it on skin colored cardboard and with the help of a pencil trace the figure of the CD, this to make the skin of Santa's face, then I cut out what would be the hat but I did not like how it looked so I changed it.
Hice otro gorro que si me gusto y comencé a recortar las otras partes del rostro de Santa, la nariz, la barba, los bigotes, y la boca los hice sin medir mucho, solamente siguiendo mi instinto y rogando que no quedara todo mal proporcionado jajajaja
I made another hat that I did like and started to cut the other parts of Santa's face, the nose, the beard, the whiskers, and the mouth I did without measuring much, just following my instinct and praying that everything was not badly proportioned hahaha.
Coloque cada pieza en su sitio para ver que tal se veía, y luego comenzar a pegar, para pegarlo utilice silicón caliente, asi tendría un resultado más rápido y se pegaría mejor, después de pegar todas las piezas, dibuje los ojos y comencé con el otro CD que iba a ser de un muñeco de nieve.
I placed each piece in its place to see how it looked, and then start gluing, to glue it I used hot silicone, so I would have a faster result and it would stick better, after gluing all the pieces, I drew the eyes and started with the other CD that was going to be of a snowman.
Y este hombre de nieve fue muchísimo mas sencillo, pues no tenia barba jaja, hice el mismo procedimiento de colocar el cd sobre la cartulina, pero esta vez usando la cartulina blanca, trazando la forma del cd para luego recortarlo y pegarlo, después hice una pequeña zanahoria con cartulina naranja y para hacerlo mas llamativo y no tan simple, le hice un sombrero con brillitos rojos y verde, comencé a pegar todo en su sitio para luego pintarle los ojitos con marcador negro, también repase la zanahoria con marcador negro para darle un poquito de textura. Cuando creí que había terminado se me olvido un pequeñísimo detalle que fue colocarle una cuerda para que los puedan colgar de la pared jaja, asi que rápidamente tome una tira y la pegue en la parte de atrás, uniéndola entre los gorros y el CD y asi que estuviesen bien reforzados.
And this snowman was much simpler, because he didn't have a beard haha, I did the same procedure of placing the cd on the cardboard, but this time using the white cardboard, tracing the shape of the cd and then cut it out and glue it, then I made a small carrot with orange cardboard and to make it more striking and not so simple, I made a hat with red glitter and green, I started to glue everything in place and then paint the eyes with black marker, I also went over the carrot with black marker to give it a little texture. When I thought I was done I forgot a very small detail which was to put a string so they can hang them on the wall haha, so I quickly took a strip and glued it on the back, joining it between the hats and the CD and so they were well reinforced.

Me encanto lo lindo y sencillo que es hacer cosas tan bonitas para decorar nuestro hogar en navidad, también podría funcionar para Halloween pero eso quizás lo pruebe otro día 😁
I loved how cute and simple it is to make such nice things to decorate our home for Christmas, it could also work for Halloween but maybe I'll try that another day 😁
