Catrina.

The catrina in its history really originated as a social criticism, it is part of the Mexican culture its presence is more striking when it is the day of the dead and today many people use the catrina for costumes and makeup, there are many types of catrina makeup, the original has many details, ornaments, and they also adorn it with flowers and hats, for me it is a spectacular figure, representing art and with a rather funny story. Today I will show you a small portrait of a lady with a somewhat simple catrina makeup, just the basics although as I mentioned there are many catrina makeups that have many beautiful details but this time I wanted to make it that simple, for my character I wanted to make a very thin face but it had huge eyes that stand out with the black makeup around them.

La catrina en su historia realmente se originó como una crítica social, es parte de la cultura mexicana su presencia es más llamativa cuando es el día de los muertos y hoy en día muchas personas utilizan de inspiración a la catrina para disfraces y maquillajes, existen muchos tipos de maquillaje de catrinas, el original lleva muchos detalles, adornos ya también la adornan con flores y sombreros, para mi es una figura espectacular, que representa arte y que tiene una historia bastante divertida.
Hoy les mostrare un pequeño retrato de una dama con un maquillaje de catrina algo simple, solo lo básico aunque como mencione hay muchos maquillajes de catrina que tienen muchísimos detalles hermosos pero en esta oportunidad yo quería hacerlo así de simple, para mi personaje quise hacer un rostro muy fino pero que tuviera unos ojos enormes que resalten con el maquillaje negro alrededor de ellos.
