Hi everyone
Here we go with one more entry to #monomad

Taking another monochromatic look at Alentejo lands, this time in Arraiolos, a small village located in the district of Évora, well known for its typical embroideries that are passed from generation to generation. Here the traces of human presence date back to Neolithic times, when several peoples occupied this territory, which has a long and rich history.
The landscape is one of the greatest heritage assets of Arraiolos, having from Castelo da Vila an extraordinary panorama over the beautiful white houses and all the surrounding nature, but in this article we stay on the narrow intertwined streets with emphasis on a building just on the corner of a street known for the Arraiolos rug trade, Tapetes Kalifa, founded in 1916.
Hope you like it
