MashaAllah, the weather was really beautiful. But along with the fun, a few unexpected stories always become part of the day.
During the match, our bat broke. We had only played two overs when it happened. The funny thing is that we had just gotten it repaired two days earlier.
And even more interestingly, a few days ago, it had actually been damaged by me.
So, unfortunately, we couldn't complete our match. But we didn't want our morning trip to the ground to go to waste. We used the same bat and spent some time playing catch with each other on the pitch, making the best of the situation.
After leaving the ground, I went to Yasin Bhai's shop to have some yogurt. When I got there, I found out that his mother-in-law had passed away. May Allah grant her the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give patience to the family. Ameen.
The shop was open, and Yasin Bhai had asked a friend to sit there because there was a concern that the milk might spoil. He himself had gone to Islamabad.
After taking care of everything, I came back and opened my shop. Alhamdulillah, the business was good. Around noon, I went to Meezan Bank to make some necessary payments.
I had still not done my shopping because there is a wedding coming up this month on the 25th.
After finishing my work at the bank, I went shopping and bought a few suits for myself.
I came back and opened my shop again. MashaAllah, the business was good throughout the day.
In the evening, Abbas Bhai and Razaullah Bhai came to the shop.
They started insisting that we should go somewhere outside to eat. I refused many times and tried my best to avoid going, but unfortunately, I couldn't win against their insistence. In the end, I had to go with them for pizza.
We returned around midnight, and I also took care of a few necessary tasks.
Later that night, when I checked my messages, I saw that the captain had also sent a message asking us to come to the ground in the morning. Some of our friends had also been asked to come.
Alhamdulillah, I woke up on time in the morning, offered my prayer, recited the Quran, and then headed straight to the ground.
When I reached there, the weather instantly lifted my mood. There was light fog, and the whole atmosphere looked beautiful and peaceful.
Today, we played a total of two matches.
The target of 91 runs had been coming up in our recent matches. They said, “Brother, let us bat first today. We will try to chase 91 runs, and then we can play the next match.”
So, we gave them the chance to bat first and bowled to them. They could not chase the 91-run target within four overs.
After that, we had a toss, and Alhamdulillah, we won the toss. We batted first and gave them a target of 63 runs. This time, they managed to chase the target.
Then they batted first in the next match and gave us a target of 43 runs. Alhamdulillah, our luck was on our side, and we managed to chase the target and win the match.
After returning from the ground, I went to Yasin Bhai's shop. He had returned, so I met him, expressed my condolences, and offered my prayers for his family.
I also had some yogurt there before returning home.
After coming home, I opened my shop and continued with the rest of my day.

حالانکہ صرف دو دن پہلے ہی اسے مرمت کروا کے لائے تھے ـ اور مزے کی بات یہ ہے کہ پچھلے دنوں یہ مجھ سے ہی بیٹ چکا تھاـ
جو کہ ہمارا میچ تو مکمل نہیں ہوا لیکن اسی بیڈ سے پھر ہم ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ پیچ کے اوپر دگھول دائرہ لگا کہ اپس میں کیچ کیچ کھیلتے رہے ـ تاکہ ہمارا صبح کا انے کا کچھ تو فائدہ ہو ـ
وہاں سے فارغ ہو کے واپسی یاسین بھائی کی شاپ پہ گیا دہی کھانے کے لیے ـ
وہاں جا کے پتہ چلا کہ ان کی ساسو ماں فوت ہو چکے ہیں ـ اللہ پاک ان کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلی مقام عطا فرمائےـ.
دکان کھولی ہوئی تھی اور انہوں نے ایک دوست کو بٹھایا ہوا تھا کیونکہ دودھ خراب ہو جانے کا خواہشہ تھا،اور وہ خود اسلام اباد گئے ہوئے تھے ـ وہاں سے فارغ ہو کر دکان ایا تو کام بھی اچھا رہا دوپہر کے وقت میزان بینک جا کر کچھ ضروری پیمنٹ جمع کروائی ـ جو کہ میں نے ابھی تک اپنی شاپنگ نہیں کی ہوئی تھی کیونکہ اگے اس ہی منتھ شادی بھی ہے 25 تاریخ کو ـ
بینک سے نمٹنے کے بعد شاپنگ کرنے کے لیے گیا چلا ـ وہاں سے اپنے لیے کچھ سوٹ خریدے ـ
واپسی ا کر شاپ اوپن کی ماشاءاللہ کام پہ شاپ اچھا رہا ـ
شام کے ٹائم عباس بھائی اور رضا اللہ بھائی اگئے ـ
اور فرمائش کرنے لگیں کہ کہیں باہر کھانے کے لیے چلنا ہے ـ
میں نے تو بہت زیادہ منع کیا اور کافی کوشش بھی کی مگر ان کے سامنے میری ایک نہ چلی اخر کار پیزا کھانے جانا ہی پڑا ـ
وہاں سے رات 12 بجے تک واپسی ہوئی اور کچھ ضروری کام بھی نپٹائے ـ
جو کہ رات کو میسج چیک کی ہے تو کپتان کا بھی میسج ایا ہوا تھا کہ صبح کھیلنے کے لیے ا جانا دوستوں کا بھی ـ
صبح الحمدللہ انکھ ٹائم سے کھولی نماز پڑھی تلاوت کی اور سیدھا گراؤنڈ کی طرف نکل پڑا ـ
وہاں جا کے موسم دل خوش کر دیا ہلکی دھند اور ماحول بہت پیارا لگ رہا تھا ـ
ہم نے اج ٹوٹل دو میچ کھیلے ـ
جو کہ پچھلے دنوں کا 91 رنز کا ٹارگٹ رہتا تھا ـ
انہوں نے کہا کہ بھائی اج ہمیں پہلے بیٹنگ کرواؤ 91 رنز ہم چیز کریں اس کے بعد ہم اگلے میچ کھیلے گےـ
