Yesterday was quite a busy day for me. I spent the entire day working at my shop, and because of all the work, I became really tired.
When I returned home at night, there was some work going on at home as well. However, I did not take part in it because I was already very tired and wanted to get some rest so I could recover from the day's exhaustion.
I wanted to rest so that I could have a good start the next day and wake up on time to go for my usual cricket session in the morning.
Unfortunately, the power kept going out during the night, which made it difficult to get proper rest. Because of this, I could not fall asleep easily and ended up going to bed quite late.
Even after sleeping late, Alhamdulillah, I still woke up on time because we had a cricket match that morning.
We reached the ground and started waiting for the opposing team. They took a lot of time to arrive, so we decided that instead of our usual 20-over match, we would play a 16-over match that day.
After quite some time, the opposing team finally arrived. We told them that we would be playing a 16-over match, and they agreed.
We explained all the standard cricket rules to them because we always try to play according to the proper rules.
However, during the match, there were frequent arguments. Small issues kept turning into debates, and because of this, we did not enjoy the game as much as we normally do.
It seemed that they were not very familiar with the basic rules of cricket. Almost every little thing became an argument, with comments like, “Brother, it didn't happen like that,” or “It happened differently,” which made the game feel more like a casual children's game than a proper cricket match.
Even then, we did not stop trying to compromise from our side. Whatever the circumstances were, we kept our focus on the game and gave our best effort.
In my opinion, winning and losing are both part of the game, but having a good environment and respecting each other are equally important.
The opposing team set a target of 182 runs for us. Alhamdulillah, we played well, gave our best effort, and successfully chased the target in just 15 overs.
Of course, winning the match made us happy, but I also had to get back to my shop quickly because my work was important too.
I was also receiving calls from customers saying that they were waiting for me. As soon as the match ended, I quickly headed home and opened my shop.
When I reached the shop, I saw an uncle and his son waiting for me. They told me that they had been waiting for quite some time. I apologized to them and asked them about the reason for their visit. Alhamdulillah, they ended up buying a mobile phone from me.
Sunday is usually a very good business day for our shop. Alhamdulillah, business is generally good on Sundays, and I always try to give as much time as possible to my shop.
At the same time, cricket is also very important to me. That is why I always try to maintain a good balance between my work and my passion.
For me, work is important, but making time for something I love is important too. When a person manages to follow their passion alongside their responsibilities, it brings a different kind of happiness, even after a tiring day.
Alhamdulillah, yesterday was also a reflection of that balance: giving my best in the cricket match in the morning, celebrating the victory, and then returning to take care of my responsibilities at the shop.
This is what life is about. Sometimes there is a lot of work, sometimes there is tiredness, but the goal should always be to fulfill our responsibilities while keeping our passions alive. 🏏❤️

کل کا دن میرے لیے کافی زیادہ مصروف رہا ـ
پورا دن شاپ پر کام میں مصروف رہا اور کام کی وجہ سے کافی تھکاوٹ بھی ہو گئی تھی ـ
جب رات کو گھر واپس گیا تو گھر میں بھی کچھ کام چل رہا تھاـ
لیکن میں نے کام میں حصہ نہیں لیا کیونکہ میں کافی تھکا ہوا تھا اور کچھ دیر ارام کرنا چاہتا تھا تاکہ اپنی تھکاوٹ کو ختم کر سکوں ـ
میں چاہتا تھا کہ ارام اس لیے کر لوں تاکہ اگلے دن کے لیے اچھی شروعات کر سکوں اور صبح ٹائم سے اٹھ کر اپنے معمول کے مطابق کرکٹ کھیلنے کے لیے جا سکوں-
لیکن بدقسمتی سے رات کو لائٹ بھی بار بار تنگ کرنے لگی، جس کی وجہ سے سکون سے ارام کرنا مشکل ہو گیا ـ
اسی وجہ سے نیند بھی کافی دیر سے ائی اور میں رات کو بھی زیادہ لیٹ سویا ـ
لیکن لیٹ سونے کے بعد بھی صبح وقت پر اٹھ گیا، کیونکہ اج ہمارا کرکٹ کا میچ بھی تھا ـ
ہم گراؤنڈ پہنچے اور دوسری ٹیم کا انتظار کرنے لگے ـ
دوسری ٹیم نے انے میں بہت زیادہ وقت لگایا جس کی وجہ سے ہم نے فیصلہ کیا جہاں ہم 20 اوور کھیلتے ہیں اس کی جگہ اج ہم 16 اوور کا میچ کھیلیں گے ـ
کافی ٹائم گزرنے کے بعد دوسری ٹیم پہنچی ہم نے ان سے کہا کہ اج 16 اووروں کا میچ کھیلنا ہے ـ
انہوں نے کہا ٹھیک ہے ـ
ہم نے ان کو سب کرکٹ کے رولز بتائے جو کرکٹ میں ہوتے ہیں کہ ہم سب رولز کے ساتھ کھیلتے ہیں ـ
میچ کے دوران بار بار بحث ہو رہی تھی، اور چھوٹی چھوٹی باتوں پر بحث کی وجہ سے کھیل کا وہ مزہ نہیں آیا ہے جو عام طور پر کرکٹ کھیلتے ہوئے اتا ہےـ
جو کہ وہ کرکٹ کے رولز سے ہی نا واقف تھےـ
وہ ہر چیز پہ کہتے کہ بھائی ایسے نہیں ہوا ویسے نہیں ہوا جیسے بچوں والی کرکٹ ہو ایسے کھیل رہے تھے ـ
پھر بھی ہم نے اپنی طرف سے ہر طرف سے کمپرومائز کرنے کی کوشش نہیں چھوڑی ـ
حالات جیسے بھی تھے ہم نے پورا فوکس کھیل پر رکھا اور اپنی طرف سے پوری محنت اور کوشش کی ـ
میرے خیال میں کھیل میں جیت اور ہار اپنی جگہ، لیکن اچھا ماحول اور ایک دوسرے کا احترام بھی بہت ضروری ہے ـ
دوسری ٹیم نے ہمیں 182 رنز کا ٹارگٹ دیاـ الحمدللہ ہم نے اچھی کوشش کی اور 15 اوور میں ٹارگٹ چیز کر لیاـ

مجھے کسٹمرز کی کال وغیرہ بھی ا رہی تھی کہ ہم اپ کا ویٹ کر رہے ہیں ـ میچ ختم ہونے کے بعد میں وہاں سے جلدی گھر کی طرف ایا اور اپنی شاپ اوپن کی ـ شاپ پر پہنچا تو دیکھا کہ ایک انکل اور ان کا بیٹا کافی دیر سے میرا انتظار کر رہے تھے ـ انہوں نے مجھے بتایا کہ ہم کافی دیر سے اپ کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں ـ میں نے ان سے معذرت کی ان سے وجہ پوچھی تو الحمدللہ انہوں نے مجھ سے ایک موبائل خریدا ـ اتوار کا دن ویسے بھی شاپ کے کام کے لحاظ سے ہمارے لیے کافی اچھا رہتا ہے ـ الحمدللہ اس دن کام بھی اچھا ہوتا ہے اور کوشش یہی ہوتی ہے کہ جتنا وقت شاپ پر دے سکوں دوں، لیکن ساتھ ساتھ کرکٹ بھی میرے لیے بہت اہم ہےـ اس لیے کوشش ہوتی ہے کہ دونوں چیزوں کے درمیان اچھا توازن رکھا جائے ـ
میرے لیے کام بھی ضروری ہے اور اپنے شوق کے لیے وقت نکالنا بھی ـ انسان اگر اپنے ذمہ داریوں کے ساتھ اپنے شوق کو بھی وقت دے تو دن کی تھکاوٹ کے باوجود دل کو ایک الگ ہی خوشی ملتی ہے ـ
الحمدللہ،کل کا دن بھی کچھ ایسا ہی گزرا، صبح کرکٹ میچ میں پوری کوشش ،جیت کی خوشی اور پھر واپس ا کر شام کی ذمہ داری یہی زندگی ہے، کبھی مصروفیت ہوتی ہے ،کبھی تھکاوٹ، لیکن کوشش یہی ہوتی ہے کہ اپنی ذمہ داریاں بھی پوری کروں، اور اپنے شوق کو بھی زندہ رکھوں ـ
