Although my body shape and taste may change through my life, I'm trying to make life long master patterns these years. It's nice if I can make my clothes whenever I need in the shape I like with fabric I like by myself. I don't have to rely on controversial fashion industry.
After I sewed dresses, my favorite neckline, sleeve shape, length, style etc became clearer. I made a master pattern of a simple dress and now try to make a new one out of it with blue linen I bought at Siebenblau, an organic fabric store in Berlin last week.

トレンドはおいておくとしても、体系や好みは変わるので一生ものとはいかないかもしれませんが、これさえあればという原型のような型紙を作ろうとしています。自分に合う洋服を好きな生地でいつでも作れたらいいなと思い。問題が少なくないファッション業界に依存したくないというのもあります。
ワンピースはこの数年でいくつか作って着て、首回り、袖周り、長さ、スタイルなど自分に合うものがわかってきました。フローリングの貼り直し工事が入っている間、仕事の書き物は難しかったので黙々と型紙を作って、そこからワンピースを作ろうとしています。
ベルリンのビオ生地屋さんSiebenblauで買ってきたリネンの生地ににやにやしています。できあがったらNeedlework Mondayに書きます。
なんでも作れる魔女のようなおばあちゃんになりたいです :)
