As food and culture are inseparable and I like to get to know food from cultural aspect and vice versa, I created a community 'Food & Culture'. Let me explain a little bit about the background behind the creation of the community.
I love food and when I think about what I would like to do in my life is ... to taste various tasty food. I especially like food that is connected to culture. I like to see and hear stories about food and culture. I really enjoyed hosting the Ukrainian food and film evenings, which was funded by the State Cultural Foundation.
There are thriving food communities on the Hive Blog. However sometimes I wonder, "To where shall I write a food related post that focuses on the cultural side?" It's not something foodie, it's not recipes, it's not a particular style of diet like vegan ... A good example is my recent Bitcoin Pizza Day post. The Ukrainian Food and Film Evening post mentioned above is also culture-oriented.
As such, I created a 'Food & Culture' community on Bitcoin Pizza Day because I thought it would be fun to have a community where we can read and write food and culture posts.
I think some people might not want to mainly post to Food & Culture, as we have higher chance to have upvotes in the larger communities. I fully understand it from my experience of managing Bread Bakers community.
So please crosspost your post 😊 There are no other strict rules, just respect others and write mainly in English. You can crosspost your post from @Ecency or @PeakD.

Food & Cultureというコミュニティを作ってみました。少しだけコミュニティを作った背景を説明させてください。
私は食べ物が好きで、人生で何をしたいだろうと考えたら「おいしいものをいろいろ食べたいな」という考えが頭に思い浮かびました。日中は次の次の食事までどうしようと妄想し、明日は何を食べようかななんて考えながら寝ます😆
でも、おいしければなんでもいいかというと、そうではなくて、特に文化とつながっている食が好きです。食と文化のストーリーを見たり聞いたりするのが好きです。州の文化財団の助成を受けて開催したウクライナの食と映画の夕べはとても楽しかったです。
Hive Blogには、食に関するコミュニティがあって盛り上がっていますが、時々「文化面にフォーカスしたものってどこに投稿すればいいのだろう？」ということがあります。いわゆるフーディーな感じでもないし、レシピでもないし、ビーガンのような特定の食の様式でもないし・・・。たとえば最近私が書いたものだと、Bitcoin Pizza Dayの投稿がいい例です。前出のウクライナの食と映画の夕べの投稿もそうです。
そんなこんなで、食と文化のコミュニティがあったら他の人の投稿も読めて楽しいなと思い、Bitcoin Pizza Dayに「Food & Culture」コミュニティを作ることにしました。
大きなコミュニティの方がupvoteの可能性が高いですし、謎の新しいコミュニティでもあり、Food & Cultureにメインで投稿するのはちょっとなあという人もいると思います。よかったらまずはクロスポストしてみてください 😊 英語メインで他の人を尊重しましょうくらいで、他には特に厳しいルールもないので、クロスポストしやすいと思います。クロスポストは@Ecencyや@PeakDを使うとできます。
