Before starting the real thing i would be saying a big thank you to @starstrings and all the newbies initiative program team for providing newbies such a wonderful support and help. You guys are doing a great job. I must say that this really is helpful for me in my hive journey and i will remember this forever.

My partner of the week

So, @meyateingi is my partner for this week. Having different partners each week is really helpful for me. I get to know more people on hive and my reach increases. This is a really good idea to have new partners each week. I made some friends through this.

@meyateingi is a good girl. She is a bit busy in her daily routine but my experience with her is really good as far we have talked. We had some meaningful talks regarding the task no.2 of the newbies initiative and she will also be posting about the task 2 once she gets time.

Difference between centralised and decentralised platform

So, here we go. The first thing we are to explain is that what is the difference between a centralised and decentralised platform. Listen guys!

A centralised platform is controlled by the only one head. Which means that all the data and function is controlled by only one main server or boss or whatever you can call that one single thing above. You can take a real example of your daily routine usage of mobile sim network. All the calls and texts or internet you are provided with is handled by the one main entity. Any responsibility is taken by only that head. No one other than that is in charge

But this is not how it works in something which is decentralised

When we say something is decentralised we mean that it doesn't belong to anyone head. Or no single power is controlling it. The power is distributed among the users and everyone is free to do any kind of activity. This is how decentralisation works. Let me make it more clear for you, you people might have noticed when you want to get a taxi there are numbers of taxis standing at a stand and every one asks you to come with them and for this sometime one offers you less fare than the other so that you prefer that taxi. There is no single head to control them, they are free to offer there services in any manner

This is how HIVE platform works. Everyone is free to do whatever they want. But remember everyone is free (so don't think that you are free to do wrong things, there are others free to punish you then

Brief explanation of vote begging, plagiarism and post recycling

So, now i will be explaining some points to you which are really necessary to avoid and read them carefully. If you are newbie these will be helpful for you if you want to survive and grow here.

Vote begging

What is vote begging? It is clear from the title guys that begging for vote is vote begging. It is not considered a good thing here on Hive. You want votes? Why not do hard work and make your work attractive so that people find it difficult to ignore your post. But reaching people and asking them that please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please vote here. How shameful this feels. Huh. So, in simple terms vote begging is reaching different people to vote and support you or one can do it in different manners. But whatever it is never do that or else you might receive downvotes😊 and that will be more pinching for you.

Plagiarism

Hey, who isn't familiar with that thing? Plagiarism is the one thing i hate the most. This is because people do it and become more good then the one who worked really hard. And this the one reason i love Hive that plagiarism is strictly forbidden here. Plagiarism is copying some work from the internet and publishing it here as your own. Or copying some else's work and pasting it here and then saying oh hey people look how good i have done shame. If you want to write some work done by other people then properly mention that who's work it is. But still it is discouraged, always try to be unique and come up with your own work.

post-recycling

Are you people familiar of recycle word? This is what you hear when someone says that we recycle the old things and make them new.

It is the same thing when it comes to hive but here people recycle their posts. When someone sees their post hasn't received many votes then he/she just make some edits and post it again (it even sounds bad). Also if someone is not getting any idea even then they do the same thing. This ain't a good thing. Always refrain from doing so or punishment awaits.

Importance of proper tags

The most important thing if you are daily blogger and content creator on hive. The right use of tags can give you more reach which will be helpful for you.

The first two to three tags must be content related. This will make people understand that what are you writing about. Writing about cycling and giving a tag of cleaning it doesn't makes sense. It will confuse people and you might receive a negative response. So be careful and responsible towards what you post.

After those two to three tags try to give some tags which make you earn some free tokens. I won't mention any specific but these are always beneficial for a newbie. A right use of tags will be making your post look more attractive and creative. Even if someone will take a look at the post he/she will get the proper idea.

At the end i always do some tribe tags. Which are good for me in the case that my post might get some extra reach. In this way the right tags will do a good job.

List of 4 tags i use or i know

As i stated earlier that i always use the first two to three tags which are related to my content. So they always varry, but some tags i use most are

Neoxian: This is the tag of neoxian tribe and it also gives you some free tokens neoxags. Which are really beneficial.

POB: It is a tag of proofofbrain community which helps you earn some pob tokens.

Indiaunited: A tag of the indiaunited community giving your post reach to the indiaunited server and you might receive an upvote if they visit and like your post.

Hivepakistan: A tag for the hivepakistan community and the case is same that if they like your post they might be curating it manually.

Conclusion

Finally, that was all i came up with. The whole write up was my opinion based and there might be flaws. If you find any mistake never hesitate to mention it below. I will be really grateful if you do so.
