So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the second topic for this week, which is “CANCEL CULTURE”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “EXAMS AND TESTS”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, sharing their thoughts on examd and tests and how they shape our perception of what intelligence really is. Because many times, the knowledge gotten are only good enough to be used in specific circumstances and real life situations require a different kind of solution.
We got to see that indeed, a lot goes into education and learning. But then, while examinations and tests might not be a measure of intelligence, it sure shows how far a particular student has come and gives an idea of what they’re supposed to know. This was an enlightening topic, indeed.

Exams aren’t perfect measures of intelligence; they reveal study habits, pressure handling, and perseverance, which can be more telling about future success than raw intellect. ARE EXAMS REALLY A TEST OF INTELLIGENCE? by 
Exams are portrayed as a flawed measure of learning, often reflecting a teacher’s effectiveness and system pressures more than true student understanding, which can distort motivation and even harm students. “If someone does something terrible, only for those who have done something terrible, is it okay if the online community cancels them? This is a form of taking matters into their own hands; shouldn't such things be handled by the appropriate authority? Even though the person is guilty, is it okay to cancel them while they still pay the legal price for their acts?”
