HivePulse Extension: Guide, Download, Feed & Features [2026]
HivePulse extension is like a teacher who helps your article to pass Search Engine Algorithm Exam. After passing algorithm exam, an article can easily rank on search engines.
HivePulse Extension:
HivePulse extension is an open free tool. Which helps user to rank their article on search engine like Yandex, Bing or Google. Extension important part is to help user to crack perfect SEO & GEO.
What's SEO & GEO?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization & GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. The purpose of both are same which is to rank article.
The only difference is that SEO is used to rank article in front of search engine by targeting rules given by search engines. Whereas GEO is used to rank article in front of AI by targeting rules given by AI. With perfect SEO, Article will be ranked on search engine pages & search results. But with perfect GEO, Article will rank in AI results like Chatgpt or Gemini will use your article to give answers to users. They both are just rules and can be changed and update with time. Also new class can also come in future. For example, REO for Robot Engine Optimization or NEO Nanotechnology Engine Optimization. With time, this field will increase due to constant success of human beings.
- In 2019, I didn't expect that there would be a stuff like AI but now it is. Similarly we can't predict future. So sets of rule will be invented to handle new things like GEO was invented for AI (Gemini, Grok etc) & SEO for search engines like Google, Bing or Yandex.
REO & NEO is just imaginary examples. So please don't try to search them.
Guide:
HivePulse extension can be used for multiple purposes. SEO & GEO are main but there are many other factor's. Let's first cover SEO & GEO;
SEO by post analyzer:
HivePulse Analyzer contains many barrier/steps to rank article. The analyzer provides a live SEO score out of 100. Which updates as you write. Analyzer grades the foundation of your article by several metrics. Some of them are explained in depth;
1- SEO score board:
Score board provides live SEO rating out of 100 which updates by time to time.
SEO score board contains;
• Keywords: It's the main pillar of SEO. Without main keywords, it's difficult to rank. Main keyword can only be one. People sometimes related them with tags but both are different. Search engine places the highest weight on main keyword. Main keyword must be put in title, first 70 words. Subheading, image description & meta description to rank article. Main keyword is also know as focus keyword. SEO score board exactly focuses on this criteria that are required to rank an article.
In terms of length, there are 3 types of Main Keyword. They are short tail, medium tail & Long tail keyword. I prefer to focus on medium and long tail keywords to rank easily if you have unranked site. It's difficult for new site to rank on single keyword in start. Lastly, keywords are different from tags
• Title: Basically Google displays about 50 to 70 characters of a title to users. Aim for this length. Place your keyword near the beginning as we discuss in Keywords area. Using numbers, power words or brackets are best to improve your click-through rate & HivePulse SEO board concentrate on that. The score board will help you to create attractive title to rank article.
Remember, Don't use short & negative titles to rank. Sometimes negative keywords are okay but not every time. Ranking depends on user search intent, keyword placement, clarity, and clickability—not negative tone. Don't do Spam interms of title. Many cheap bloggers write something else in title & present something else in article.
• Meta Description: This text acts as the grey snippet below your Title in Google search results. Length must be 20–160 characters so crawler bots can easily scan. Use this space to summarize your post in one or two sentences. Include your focus keyword & give readers a good reason to click.
What's Crawler bot?
Every search engines have some workers that scans the entire web every milli-seconds to store new or updated data. Those workers are known are crawler bots & they are bots not humans :). For example, I published an article. Search console will send crawler bots to scan my article & store it in their servers or storage in a formate. So whenever a user ask something related to my article, if my article is best then search engine will present it to users. Furthermore, Google frequently rewrites meta descriptions dynamically in search results to match what the user searched for, rather than always displaying the exact text you wrote.
• Structure: Ensure proper heading hierarchy by using H2 or H3 for subheadings in the body. Never use a H1 in the body as the title already serves as your page's H1 and this creates a duplicate H1. Aim for one section every 200–300 words and do not skip heading levels.
Remember,
"#" is for H1 which is title. Only used onces
"##" is for H2 which is main heading. Can be used multiple times
"###" is for H3 which is sub heading of main heading. One main heading can contains multiple sub heading.
• Media:Including images increases engagement and the time readers spend on your post. You should add at least 2 relevant image and provide Alt text. If you wanna hit 100 on SEO board then images with Alt text are important things.
What's Alt text?
Alt text is an description of image. In description, we tell what's does image expresses. It's an important part of SEO. Alt text helps clawler to understand images & helps blind readers. Blind readers can feel image but they can hear. So whenever they click image, AI voice will tell them what's in image.
• Links: Adding links of your other blogs inside article is great in terms of ranking. It'creates an informational cluster which tells crawler that this person is expert in this matter. For example, I know about stress, I will create 2 big articles & 10 small articles. I will link them all by placing link of one into another. It will form an informational cluster which will show crawler that I am expert in this topic & crawler will easily rank me.
Remember to stay away from Black Hat SEO.
• Tags: Tags are crucial for Hive not for search engines. Your first 5 tags decides your articles category, type & audience. So choose wisely as it becomes permanent once the post is published.
Don't spam by putting multiple tags. 5 to 10 tags are perfect.
• Readability: This metric evaluates the Flesch reading ease based on word and sentence length, alongside the use of transition words. To keep readers engaged longer, use shorter sentences, everyday words & connector words like however or for example. From my side, I love & hate readability section on score board. Hate because too much strick like that one point is my enemy. Love because that point motivates me to focus more.
What's Flesch Reading Ease?
Flesch Reading Ease is a formula used to measure how easy or difficult a piece of text is to read.
2- Keyword Placement:
This section tells user about keyword places. Like where user needs to place keywords. Red text with cross ❌ means user didn't put keyword correctly at that place. Green tick ✔️ means that area is passed.
3- Google Preview:
Google Preview show users how their article will be shown in search results. It contain title, link of post & short 100-160 word description.
4- Pre Publish:
This section contains some red bulbs that are needed to be green for perfect SEO. It helps user to undersand what they are missing.
GEO by Post Analyzer:
GEO stand for Generative Engine Optimization. It was introduced in 2024. GEO is a set of rule. If we complete those rules then AI like Chatgpt, Gemini, Grok & many more will present information to users from our articles. Similarly, Hivepulse extension will help user to rank in terms of GEO by telling mistakes.
1- GEO Score Board:
Similarly to SEO score board, GEO score board provides live GEO rating out of 100 which updates by time to time.GEO score board contain;
•Opening Hook: Always remember that first impression is last impression. If readers didn't get hooked in starting paragraph, then they aren't interting in reading more. Similarly if you didn't explain in starting paragraph about what you are gonna say about. Then AI will also reject your article due to no value.
I always try my best to take both options inside my basket.
•Self-contained: Ensures each section or paragraph makes complete sense on its. Because AI presents human requirement parts from article.
Try best to name things rather then using it & they.
•Clear Subjects: Clearly name things about which you are writing rather then using "It" or "they". For example, AI will prefer "Ranch is an American sauce" rather then "it's an American sauce".
•Answerable Structure: Add some Questions & answers in your article related to your topic. It will help you article to rank easily because you are providing additional answers.
•Definitional Clarity: Explain concepts & definition clearly & easily. It helps AI engines to summarize definitions accurately.
•Concrete Data: AI loves exact details. This checks if you use real numbers and solid facts instead of fuzzy words. Adding a source link next to your numbers gives your score a quick boost.
Download:
When talks comes to downloading extension. Many people leave at start because don't know what to do. At the end, those people blame their mobile like dear 
Remember, extensions of hive can work on mobile phone but in special browsers. Special browsers like Mises & Firefox. I have tested both browser & both work perfectly fine. Don't even try to use normal mobile Chrome browser for any hive extensions.
** Extension Store Universal Rule: Always remember that you can download extensions from Chrome Web Store for any browser irrespective to Chrome. But in terms of Firefox Add-Ons & Microsoft Add-Ons, Firefox & Bing Browser is required.**
For Mobile Users
Mises Browser:
Following are the steps to use Hivepulse extension on Mises Browser;
1- First Download Mises Browser from play store. If not availble in your country, then use Firefox.
2- In search bar, Type HivePulse extension with no gap. A list of different web stores will appear. I prefer to go with Chrome web store because it universal. We are gonna go with Chrome web store.
3- Download extension from Web store. Usually it takes 3 to 8 Seconds.
4- Click Home Icon on left bottom side. Now click on Extension icon usually looks like a puzzle icon.
5- Select HivePulse extension. Click wallet icon and enter your Hive username to login. Only username is required not keys. So your keys are protected.
6- Search Peakd & login your account. Many users stuck at Peakd due to login requirements. I prefer to use peak lock because it's easy & Secure.
7- Click "Write Post" Option & Write you article.
8- Click extension icon. A green bar would appear on Hivepulse logo.If green bar appears then extension is working.
9- Refresh page to see Post analyzer. Remember Post analyzer would not appear in start. Refresh page and it will appear. Dont panic if you didn't see Post analyzer.
10- Write you article & Post analyzer will guide you.
Open Mises Browser. Click 3 dots on Right-bottom side. Scroll & see Search Engine option. Select Chrome Browser if you want accurate searches.
Firefox Browser:
Following are the steps to use Hivepulse extension on Mobile Phone;
1- Download Firefox from Play Store. Mostly available in any country. Sign-in doesn't required. However, user can sign-in if user want.
2- Next, Open Firefox. Search Hivepulse extension. A list of searches would appear. Click on Firefox Add-Ons. Search & download the extension. After that go back to the home page.
3- Click 3 dots on the right-top. A menu would appear. Click on extensions. Click Hivepulse extension. First disable it & then again enable it. We are doing this because sometimes extension doesn't work in start.
4- Open any interface inside Firefox by searching. I prefer Peakd.
5- Login on interface. Open Write new post option.
6- Refresh the page if you aren't seeing post analyzer. Click 3 dots on right-to & Disable & Enable extension if refresh doesn't work.
7- After post analyzer appears. Start writing & don't take any stress.
Don't select Firefox as default browser.
Microsoft Edge Browser:
Users can't use Edge Browser for extension. HivePulse extension isn't available on Microsoft Add-Ons. Chrome web store doesnt work for mobile phone edge browser. Firefox Add-Ons only work for Firefox. So leaving Edge is better option.
Same for Bing.
Brave Browser:
Hive Pulse extension isn't available even on brave. It requires desktop.
Extension is limited to users of mobile phone. With my experience, Only Mises & Firefox browser are compatible for extension in terms of mobile phone
For Desktop User's
Desktop User's can use any browser they want because extension works perfectly fine on desktop.
Steps:
1- First open any browser & search for Extension Store. Then click any store from where you want to download extension. Remember Firefox Add-Ons are only for Firefox browser users.
2- After downloading extension, either you can login on extension by hive username or you can leave it. Login on extension will also benefit user.
3- Open any interface which is compatible with extension. Open Writing post area. Refresh page and Post analyzer will appear. Remember if you didn't see Post analyzer in start, then refresh page. Also a green bar would appear over the logo of extension if you open any interface.
4- Start writing without wasting time and try as much as you can to score atleast 80+ in SEO & GEO.
Remember if you are at any interface. Then a green bar would appear on extension. Which is the sign that extension is working. Refresh page if post analyzer is not showing up. Still not showing up then disable & enable extension.
After all this, if extension is not working then shut down the screen. Take a nap & after that message me & I will help you on Discord 😉
Features: Beyond Just SEO & GEO
Basically, a lot of people think HivePulse is only for achieving perfect SEO and GEO scores. However, when you actually click the extension icon, you will find a whole different world. In fact, it acts a lot like a mini dashboard or half interface for your entire Hive life.

On hive, one thing is very important which is securing keys. First things first, the extension is completely secure. It doesn't ask for your private keys just to do small things. For example, to check your notifications or view your wallet, you only need to type in your username. If you actually want to do things like use Ecency chats or move money, it safely requires the Hive Keychain extension.
• Only Ecency chats and doing things with wallet requires keychain extension not Post analyzer and etc.
The Pulse (Notifications):
Under the Pulse tab, you can see any message or alert from Hive. It clearly sorts everything into categories. So you can easily check your social mentions, finance updates, market news, and curation votes.
Multiple Frontend:
One of the best feature about hivepulse is, it can work on multiple frontends. Furthermore, Users could add their own hive Frontend by navigating in settings.
Remember, Every frontend has some limitations so verify them first.
Feed & Communities:
Need something to read? The Feed tab lets you see a personalized feed of different articles by various Hive authors. Besides that, you can browse top communities like Actifit or Worldmappin. So you can explore different communities.
Cross-Frontend Link Generator:
You may see share tab before setting tab. Share tab is life saver because it can generate multiple frontend link of single post. Because Hive is decentralized, different people prefer using different websites. For example, My friend uses Ecency. I use Peakd. So my friend will simply open his post, with that he will also open extension and click share tab option. That single tab will scan the post and will generate multiple frontend sharing linke of single post.
The HivePulse extension continuously scans whatever post you are currently viewing. Whether it is your own draft, post or another author's published post. Simply open the extension and click the Share tab. It instantly converts post link into matching share links for all major Hive frontends. So simply copy the frontend link you want.
The Ultimate Wallet:
This is where it gets really handy. Just by entering your username, you can see your total account value and liquid assets. Plus, you can track all your staked assets, like your own Hive Power, incoming delegations, and outgoing delegations. It even tracks your Hive-Engine tokens right underneath!

Feedback:
Truly speaking, It was quite fun & I was shocked that even Hive has it's own personal SEO & GEO analyzer. I have tested every limitation of hivepulse & it's quiet good, better then my expectations. If you wanna rank Your article in search & AI results, then using Hivepulse is better option.
Sometimes, I don't understand about hive like why everything revolve around hive. We can make it universal. We can make HivePulse universal like Ahrefs but yeah, focusing on hive is still better then other sites.
Similarly, Many people stop using analyzer because they think they are losing value in article. However they aren't. Mostly, People think SEO & GEO guidelines shrink the article. But it doesn't. You can take 100 in both without losing your expression if you challenge Guidelines. Most people just follow guidelines & non of them challenge them. Challenging them means you are finding alternatives to evaluate your article without losing score.
