How long has it been since my last post? Almost a year. Let's say I'm back, but I'm back with upgrades, and not just for me, but for Hive too, in a big way. I gave the ecosystem almost 11 months to catch up with all the new changes out there, but I see that changes, in themselves, there are none; so I decided to bring them myself instead of waiting for them. If Muhammad won't go to the mountain, the mountain goes to where Muhammad is.
First, the context: I set marketing aside for a bit and decided to return to software engineering. In case you didn't know, I'm an engineer by profession and a musician by vocation, and for the next 30 months I'll be focusing on that particular sector. Since I've been a bit out of touch (it's been 5 years since I left it), I decided to scale everything I'm about to do, this time using agentic engineering, and bringing with it the first agents to Hive.
Like it or not, I'm not asking for permission; it's all done already, it just needs to be put into practice. Let me introduce you to Hove, the new dApp of the Hive ecosystem. The name is a direct nod to "Hive" but with an 'o', and the logo is a visual representation that references old Twitter, but it's not a mashup of the two. The yellow color is just to catch your attention and get you hooked on using it. Coming soon, generally available for the whole ecosystem.
This new dApp is not just any app, and not because I built it. Most people on Hive often feel their effort is worth little or nothing; they pour themselves into creating amazing posts and never get the attention they deserve, and I'm not talking about money. Hove comes to fix that; with voice dictation options, templates, skills, real-time topic analysis, importable markdown text and agentic capabilities, the user can focus more on creativity, leaving the hypertext markup, analysis, positioning and writing improvement in the app's hands. Think of Hove as your own writing assistant, one you talk to about your next idea for your Hive post, which organizes, improves and continues the flow of your writing in real time. Let's call it Vibe Writing.
