When topic comes to lust, people only think one thing and move on. But the word lust has many parts beyond human reach. Lust is an addiction that can be of good thing or bad thing. Bad lust can't be cure or destroyed but it can be removed with human willpower. Good lust is okay till it doesn't make human evil.
In short, lust means a very strong desire for something. Lust doesn't only relate with intimacy but lust can be relate with power, money, validation and etc.
Is Lust Human Flaw:
Many questions comes in my mind. For example, Is lust human flaw? Well lust isn't human flaw if it is in control. Lust that human beings can't control is human flaw & can be dangerous.
Example:
Umer has eaten food 2 hours ago. But now, Umer saw some apples & started eating. Umer is full but still eating because Umer thinks that family members will eat apples. Umer's lust is know as lust of loosing. Umer didn't want but still ate because Umer fears of loosing apples.
As clearly see that Umer didn't want to eat. But still eat because of fear that Umer created for lust. Lust first attracts humans. Lust takes over mind by weakness. Then lust destroy human beings. At start, Every human being thinks that lust is nothing. But after some times, human beings also tastes the flavour of salt because the took lust lightly in start.
In short, You are wired to feel hunger, but you are not wired to eat until you make yourself sick. Lust is simply uncalculated energy. The battle is not about destroying the energy, It is about taming and directing it to good stuff.
Profits & Losses:
Everything on planet earth(not Pluto) has some advantages(Profits) & Disadvantages(losses). So eventually, lust also has the same issue. Lust has some profit buy also has some losses.
Following are the profit & losses of Lust;
Profits (Advantages):
Human beings think that lust doesn't have any advantages (profits). But lust does have some advantages such as lust works as a boats for people who are addicted to hard work. Let's discuss advantages,
- Creates unmatched motivation, focus & willpower in human beings. Due to which human beings become intensely focus and passionated toward goals.
- Highlights what human beings truly value. Which reveals phycological needs of human beings.
- If controlled, then can act as initial spark or motivation for goals.
- Dangerous but can act as a weopen if human beings understand and control.
- Mind becomes highly alertness. Due to which, every action is taken precisely.
Note- This advantages are only achieved if human beings learn and implement to control lust.
Losses (Disadvantages):
Uncontrolled lust is more destructive then nuclear bomb. Nuclear bomb will evaporates human beings immediately. But uncontrolled lust will slowly slowly make human beings to become robots that are addicted to commands. Lets discuss disadvantages,
- Creates uncontrolled beast among human being that doesn't know the purpose of his life.
- Less Social life towards society. Could trigger anger toward other. Due to which other people will hate to start conversation with arrogant people.
- Different product would be produced if uncontrolled lust is behind the passion of doing something.
- Creates impatience in human beings.
- Destroys reality & leads to regretful choices
Types & Techniques:
There are many types of lust and techniques to manage them. Following are some of them:
Crave of Entertainment:
Uncontrolled craving for online activities are also part of it. Activities like scrolling, watching videos, stalking, immediate communication without purpose are part of it. At start, everything is entertainment. But after sometimes, it becomes uncontrolled habit.
Techniques:
- Stay away from digital devices.
- Make yourself into outdoor activities in nature.
- Build habit of improving yourself.
Food Phobia:
I have heard from many people that they eat even they don't want to. Sometimes human are addicted to fulfilling there stomach even though they aren't hungry. At first, it looks fine but pain is at the end. In simple, Modern humans evolved from ancestors who faced frequent food scarcity. Our brains are wired to actively crave and seek out high calorie foods to survive.
- Focus on carbs not protein. Eat vegetables that are non-starchy and healthy. Try less focus on foods with high starch and protein.
- Try you best to control your cravings.
- Don't eat till you are full.
- Do some activities that spikes your domapine level naturally.
Note- Some people also over eat due to stress. So enjoy little little moment of life.
This specific section is not for skinny human beings who are overeating. This section is for over weight human beings.
Materialistic Greed:
The greed that demands more and more in terms of land, cars, wealth & etc is know as materialistic greed. The greed of making wealth is okay untill it's more important then humanity. Human beings are wired to love materialistic things. But if that love becomes greed, then the destruction is began.
- Ask yourself, do you need or not. Without a finish line, material desire is an infinite treadmill.
- Start thinking of giving rather then accumulating.

Crave of power:
Power is the main enemy of Peace. Without it, world will be beautiful. However, humans will still find another way 😅. Mature people could handle power if intentions are good. Every action depends on intentions. Intentions can be good or bad depending on human beings. Intensions could trigger lust of power. A human being is successful if he or she uses power for good intentions, however if the power is used for bad intensions, then tata, bye bye.
- Do meditation for mental peace.
- Tell yourself that power is temporary but character is permanent.
- Remind yourself daily that all titles & authorities are temporary.
- Engage in peaceful activities.
- Learn to forgive others.
- Train yourself to let both insults and praises slide off you without disturbance.
Intellectual Lust:
Consuming fake information or controversy without thinking is also dangerous. This happened because human being consumed knowledge without thinking. Due to which there dopamine spikes & after sometimes, they trust any information blindly.
- Think and confirmed knowledge that you are consuming.
- Think if that information or knowledge could affect your life. No, then delete it from brain.
- Observe in silence and try to find solution.
- Don't tell other's. First you confirm & if important, then tell trust worthy.
Did you ever think why women gossip's. Because due to lust of information or hunger of drama. Gossiping actually releases dopamine and oxytocin in the brain, which creates a temporary sense of happiness and relief.
In short, every action continuesly done for instant happiness is know as lust. If done continuesly & doesn't have control to stop or to think.
Final Lesson:
Don't be a foolish donkey that runs into the river because he or she saw a sparkle on the water. Be a smart donkey. Hold the harness, pull the load, and control your own boots or foots.
