As long as you are alright :) I worried about you. The garden is gorgeous, especially the eggplant--my favorite vegetable. I know technically it's a fruit (I just looked it up), but eggplant is and always

Your daughter is lucky to have this all around her while she is young. The close, casual, association with nature will have a profound effect on her. Peaceful, calm. Life :)

Thank you, @rinconpoetico7! I love to write. As I get older I notice words come to me less fluently, but still they are there to serve my message. It just takes a little more work. That is compensated

Thank you very much, @jayna. As you know, writing helps me to sort things. In this case, there is so emotion around what is happening in our country, so much distress, that I felt impelled to write. I'm

Thank you very much for the encouragement, @jotakrevs and @curangel!

I plane to write essentially what I wrote her, but tailored of course for Amazon. I have to wait for seven days to pass. That's when the life of the blog expires and Hive doesn't care where we post our

Although we may be a little long in the tooth, you and I may also be Serge and Aisha, in our way. But yes, may there be many with the courage to fight for our country,

We were told by the town (Long Island, New York) to get our cars off the street. The car in the picture decided to die on Saturday night (battery), so it spent the night in the street. Poor car :) We haven't

I’ve built something there. I’m building there. There’s more value in Hive than just its valuation. ⭐️ It's a community. How do you value that?

When I first started working in the public school system, technology had been around for quite some time, but it was still trying to find its place in the Education world. Interesting. When I re-entered

Thank you very much. I've been writing for a long time. The way I do it is to imagine a scene in my head. Then I plot the piece to see if it is going to work. If it is going to work, the story will flow

It's painful to look at that picture. Why does history demand its martyrs? Why does it take such a travesty for people to see? And yet, there will be those who do not see. Quite a difficult time in our

Everyone in America today that isn't a psychopath or terminally stupid will very quickly abhor the reality of war on the ground. I do hope you are right.

That's a wonderful wall hanging. You see why your brave blogs affect me so strongly? It's that time of life. We're one bad report away from disaster :) I did heat my coffee a little today. We are buried

It's not that she was such a bad candidate. It's that she wasn't chosen. We needed a candidate that had gone through the ringer of primaries. Her first time around she did dismally. She would not have

I actually don't blame them for not voting. What a dreadful choice of candidates. We need to do a better job of encouraging good people to run. It starts on the local level. So much corruption on the local

It gives me heart to read this, and to read others who want good for everyone. I have to add that not everyone voted for him. That gives me heart also. He may have won electoral college and may have squeaked

No surprises here, though I thank you for taking the time to elucidate the support for Trump, et al. I'd be the first to admit that the Democrats dropped the ball when they did not allow an open primary
