Winter Soltice & Aliens In The Sky

Yesterday was Winter Solstice. I suddenly remembered it was on my way home from my walk when I looked at the time and it was already getting dark. The sun set just before 4pm, 15:52 to be exact, and it immediately went dark. It had been a cloudy day anyway.

I saw an interesting thing in the sky. It was a kind of sundog without the sun. It wasn't a moondog either, neither was it a rainbow. It was some kind of light refraction for sure because the usual colours were present. However it wasn't exactly the rainbow colours either. There were some peaches and pinks in there too, which got my attention that something else was going on in the sky. Aliens?

I tried to photography it with my phone but it didn't quite capture what I was looking at. I wonder if anyone else saw it. People did see me standing there looking up at the sky but I don't remember anybody else even being curious to see what I was looking at. lol. Maybe they're used to seeing me standing there starring at something - haha. I do do it a lot.

Talking of aliens - remember this alien in my coffee? Well, he's gone now. I saw his space ship up and leave without warning. Where did I see it? Yup, you guessed it.

I know winter has only just begun, but take solace in the fact that, from now onwards, the days are starting to get longer again. 🌞
