Watermelon 馃崏
A 5,000 YEAR-OLD REFRESHMENT
Summer is in full swing now. We are actually getting some good summertime heat here in London this summer, as we have done for a few years now. Is it getting warmer on average? Maybe. Is it a bad thing? Probably. However, from my selfish point of view, I like it.
One of the things I eat in summer, like many of you, is watermelon. Watermelons are a godsend in may parts of the world - especially in hot dry climates. They have the ability to grow in dry conditions while containing a high content of water. This means, like succulents such as Aloe Vera, they have saved many many lives over the millennia where they grow.
