Magic in the Slovenian Alps
Some days ago, me and a couple friends went on a hike over the magical Mountains of the Savinja Valley. These places were once an important spritual place for Catholics, as there was an important Cathedral in the small town of Gornji Grad (which means- Higher Castle). So this place was always spiritual and people went here to find themselves and to see how unimportant our problems are.
We climbed to the mountain Lepenatka, which is relative small (1400m) and to the neighbour mountain Rogatec (1560m).
From here we had a wonderful view to the Kamni拧ko- Savinjske Alps and the Savinja Valley.
I had my drone with me, so i flew over a small church hidden in a valley on the footsteps of the mountains.
I tried to bring the spiritual and magical atmosphere into the photos. I encourage everyone to come to Slovenia and visit this undiscovered place as it is a real hidden gem in Slovenia.
This hills and mountains must have so much history and there is a huge wildlife population (even BEARS!).
I will definitely come back and camp in these woods.
There will be some more stories and photos in the future. I had a wonderful month in Slovenia, with many adventures.
In a couple days i start my new Job in Berlin, where i will try to focus on my photography and will share more photos and stories with time.
