Monomad challenge / Rainy days

Greetings to the members of the #blackandwhite community. Friends, I must confess that I adore the tranquility and peace that rainy days bring me. In Cuba, there isn’t really an autumn season, as the island is located in the tropics; we only have summer and winter here. That said, the month of October precedes the cooler period that spans the end of one year and the beginning of the next—a time when it rains quite regularly in the afternoons. On days like these, there are few people out on the streets, and those who are, move quickly to avoid getting wet. Waves from the sea spill over into the streets near the coastline. Yet, some people—like me—enjoy simply sitting and watching the rain or the sea. It is always a pleasure to share these experiences with you. Saludos a los miembros de la comunidad #blackandwhite. Amigos, les confiezo que adoro la tranquilidad y la paz que me provocan los días lluviosos. En Cuba no existe la estación del otoño propiamente, toda vez que la isla queda ubicada en el trópico, aquí solo tenemos verano e invierno. Ciertamente el mes de octubre antecede a la etapa de frío de finales e inicio de año, donde en las tardes llueve con cierta regularidad. En estos días hay pocas personas en la calle y los que transitan lo hacen con premura para no mojarse. Las olas del mar invaden las calles cercanas al litoral. Sin embargo alguna gente disfruta como yo sentarse a contemplar la lluvia o el mar. Siempre es un placer compartir con ustedes estas experiencias.
