All of us who have rescued and had puppies or any animal temporarily at home wish that firstly they get well if they are sick or injured and secondly that they have a second chance with a family or person who adopts them and fills them with love and affection for the rest of their lives.

In the same way, for those of us who have had animals temporarily at home or puppies it is difficult not to get attached, one would like to keep them all, but we must recognize that we do not have the resources and space to do so and if someone can give them more space, love and care than us, it is not right to deny them the opportunity.

Last Saturday I felt that my heart was breaking and at the same time I was happy to see how they adopted the male kitten, the truth is that I would have wanted to keep both kittens, but really besides the stress that my cats already had, feeding so many cats is a commitment that requires money. I was a long time waiting for the guy who would adopt the cat and at first I was annoyed, but it turned out that he was in a store buying things for the baby to give him a warm welcome, this makes me very happy, because first it is a good sign and second this baby deserves the best.

On the other hand, this week that is already ending I talked to the boy to know how the cat was adapting and I was happy to know or read that his family loves him and that he is spoiled, they allow him to sleep in all the beds, they are in love with him and now his name is Sox.

It is gratifying and satisfying to know that the animals we have given up for adoption are loved, cared for and pampered as they deserve, because you know you found the right person after so many interviews, because as I think I told you, I don't give cats to the first person who calls saying I love him, because we are not talking about a stuffed animal or a dog, we are talking about a life.

Adopting an animal, whatever it is, requires knowing or being aware that it is a life, a being that feels that it is fed, that this food implies an expense that we must include in our budget, annual visits to the veterinarian and not to mention if an emergency arises, besides that we must be attentive to give them their food, But sadly some people get carried away by the emotion of the moment and do not remember if they have the conditions and the disposition to have a life that will be their responsibility for at least 15 years depending on the species, breed, health, food, among others.

I have the satisfaction of having given the best of me during the months that I was attentive to the growth of the kittens, their mother (Kirara) will now live with me and here I share with you the last pictures that I took of the kitten during his last week at home in which he definitely showed me that he is a dominant cat, he faced without fear to all my cats.

Finished, although I felt and still feel a little sad, since I can't see the baby's antics and play with him, on the other hand, I am happy because I know he is loved and valued as every pet deserves and should be, I say goodbye leaving here a hug and thank you very, very much for taking a few minutes of your valuable time to read these lines.
