Yup, they are wind chime seashells... not sitting by the seashore, but by my 'magic' window... yes, the one that provides me sunset views galore...
I bought this ages and ages ago from the Filipino market in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, East Malaysia in North Borneo - and they are still hanging with the same original rope string!
Kinda makes one think of shells on a merry-go-round...
Of course, they make a lovely tinkling when blown by the breeze...
I chose this sepia as it reminds me of the golden sand of the beach
As well as golden memories of days gone by...
Capturing another angle as the wind blew the shells around...
And varying degrees of light and dark with the shades pulled close...
and a shaft sunlight shining through
Hmmm, I couldn't decide if this black and white was better or the first sepia version
So, I'm posting both!
