What do you call close to 1,000 calories wrapped in delicious taste and aroma? Well, the Serbians call that Pleskavica, and it's their traditional way of making burgers. I have not yet eaten any American burger, but I gotta tell ya, this Pleskavica is phenomenal.

I know, it's not "too healthy", and I know it has a lot of calories, but even now, five hours after I ate it, I still got my mouth full of water while typing this and thinking of that lunch I had on the Serbian side of the Danube. You know the saying: whatever's tasty is not healthy...

It was not planned, though. As a matter of fact, I haven't eaten "anything dirty" in close to two weeks. I haven't become a fitness guru or something, but I really pay a lot of attention to what I eat lately. I realized that my diet for the past few decades was so messed up, I had to do something.

The meal that I had this afternoon is a proper cheat meal. After that high-calorie juicy Pleskavica I still had some "burning room" in my stomach and I took some baklava for dessert. You can't imagine how sweet and flavored that thing was. What you see in the last pic is 200 grams of baklava. Delicious...

Does that mean I have broken my diet? Neah, it's just a cheat meal. I already had some fruits at dinner and as of tomorrow morning, I'm getting back to my regular eating. You have to "shock yourself" once in a while, no matter what you do. You don't have to throw yourself over a cliff, but some spontaneous shit once in a while is highly welcomed.

My lunch in Serbia today wasn't planned, it just happened. Same as these pics. The restaurant was full of people, though, mostly Romanians, otherwise, I would have taken more shots of the interior. It has some really really nice decorations and old photographs on the walls. Maybe next time. Have a great Saturday and see you tomorrow.

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
