Steemit Open Mic Week 68: Original Song "Somewhere Down the Road"

I've been teaching myself piano since last summer, but I only have a piano at school or at my grandma's house (and she lives two states away) so forgive me if my piano playing isn't professional yet. I'm practicing and learning as much as I can and I LOVE it! :)

Anyway, this is a song I wrote last summer with the guitar that I can do on the piano now too!

I hope you like it!

Hello old friend

it's been so long since we last spoke

How have you been I've missed you so

Tell me all there is to know

So old friend

I heard you moved house I hope it's nice

How is your girl is she still yours

You fit so nicely with her

So old friend

I must go back to where I belong

I'll miss you so I hope you know

And see you somewhere down the road

So goodbye old friend

I'll miss you so

And I hope that I see you

Somewhere down the road
