"Hooman, enough! I'm chilling now. Stop cat-calling me." (PUN INTENDED!)

Another project I'll be updating every Saturday. Fingers-crossed because even though that is like a post once a week, it is super hard to find stray cats here in United Arab Emirates. I will try my very best though.

Note: This post will scream CATS CATS CATS!

The next photos are cats from Dubai, just like the chill one above.

I miss my black cat who passed away in 2015. Doby, you are missed and remembered.

Trivia #1: They spend 70% of their lives sleeping.

(And I swear I'm a quarter of a cat. But really, cats? Even when you're up, you just laze around. I still love you all though!)

Edited in VSCO using a preset, thus the ashy look. It's a ginger cat!

Trivia #2: Behavioral traits of Ginger cats - Brave, courageous, and independent.

(I have rescued a ginger kitten before, but unfortunately she didn't survive. She was already super weak and shivering when I saw her.)

Another chill cat at Al Nahda Pond Park.

The cutest wild little warrior! She didn't let me touch her, but she posed for like 10 minutes. Miss you, bebe!

We spent the new year sunset together. Yep, this is romance.

Photos below are my cats at home (Philippines). And all of them are rescued and/or adopted! #AdoptDontShop y'all!

My very own son-shine: Yuki.

My most cherished photograph:

10984247_368841716638672_6058317763973847073_n.jpg
Yuki, Timber, and Doby.

Yuki is my adopted baby, given to me by a good friend, and is still alive. Timber and Doby were both rescued, but later on lost their lives. Doby (black) had some serious illness, and when I took her to the vet, it was already late. And Timber (not pure white) lost his life last year, while I was away.

These 3 are like my main babies, and I miss them terribly.

Timber, May 2016 | Doby, June 2015

Being a rescuer...

It is not easy. Rescuing doesn't end after you take a soaked kitten out of the street. The amount of love and care afterwards is just as challenging. But when you find a forever home for that stray, the amount of happiness compares to nothing.

I really believe in this cause, and I want to help those who cannot speak for themselves. Animals have feelings, too!

Anyway, that story will be in another blog, as well as our CDO Animal Welfare group which I want to revive when I get home.

Thanks for reading, stranger! Namaste~
